And yeah, it just.. reminds me of people who I used to be really close to and then they turned to drugs, raves, piercing, dying hair, ect a lot and it's not so much that it made them "bad" per se or that these things are negative in itself, but my friends didn't get into that until they started caring about what others think of them, and by the time I got to them to try to pep talk them into some actual confidence and self respect, it was too late and they were talking about how they didn't want to talk to me and hang out with me because they didn't want to ruin my good nature. @[email protected]"
I remember a few people telling me something similar. Hanging out with them despite our social differences. -shrug-
Or people commenting on how it's odd that I was able to hang with bad influences without being influenced myself.
@Ell: Lawl. My friend had a lip ring, but she kept having issues with it and was going to study abroad; so she just took it out so she wouldn't have deal with it.
Yeahhh it's just that it happened to 5 of my super close friends (thankfully not all of them).. that I have been buddy buddy with since the 6th grade. *sad panda*

Hmmm it's just, like. For most of my life I have grown up not trusting many people because of the issues I have had at home. So talking about losing Tama is just.. rawr @[email protected] she's like a sister to me. She is the first person I ever went to the mall with, the movies with, the first person I ever swam in a pool with (besides family), the first person to show me Kingdom hearts, gaia, manga, we have had dozens of classes together, drew a comic about each other, learned Japanese and Norwegian together, slept in the same bed, done each others' hair, tied each others' shoes, cooked dinner for each other, ect ect ect. And there is only one other person I have been that close to besides Poet. So... uh yeah. xD I feel clingy about her but at the same time it's like, I can't change her back to how she used to be. So I just have to hope she stays safe. hmmmm...

I can't really sympathize with you though. My best childhood friend disappointed me a long time ago and it sort of left a bad taste in my mouth for everyone.

Yeahh lol she is my best childhood friend xD I didn't have a best friend before her because I moved within 2 months - 1 1/2 years consistently living with my mom.

Lawl. All my "best friends" aren't my best friends anymore. In fact we're not friends at all. I'm just way done hanging on to people just because I knew them for a certain time.
Iku- ...hmmm I wonder if I should do the same. She says that I am like a sister to her and I love her to death but she really has too much drama in her life. I don't think it's necessary to say "we're on a break from being friends" or anything. I wonder if that makes sense anyways @[email protected] I think it's just me being hopeful of actually continuing to get something good out of this friendship as I used to.....? hmmmm
@Strange: In my eyes, if someone isn't willing to share a part of themselves, no matter how bad, we can't truly be close friends. You could let her go and just say that you're always available to her should she need you.
It's just.. when a relationship seems more like work than anything, it's not worth it to keep, to me.
