I thought haze because you like to sleep, when people get tired they see things all hazy and fuzzy. That moment where you are half way between being awake and asleep. (sorry I go off on tangents occasionally)

Hurt you? why not just imagine them as something else. I used to get freaked out by my robe behind my door all the time (it looked like the grim reaper) I got sick of it one night and instead started pretending it was something more friendly. It wasn't as scary then, and your imagination can work wonders in situations like that for the good or bad you just need to see what yo want to see and then it will be all good.

yea i tryed giving my self lucid dreams but some how that back fires i will try again but alot of the time it back fires on me :/

It takes practice, have you tried writing down your dreams and working to remember them first? sometimes that helps you control it.
