Yeah, I'm ok. I just miss the little bugger though, even if it particularly enjoys nibbling on my fingers. I wish I knew just why it just went and died on me though. :c

@llonka: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. D: How long did you have it for? Munchkins only lasted about a couple of months from when I bought them.

Did he seem sick at all?
My piggy died from a cold. There were no vets that would take him, so we had to do what we could for him.
Guinea pigs can get colds and die easily from them, I think.

I know how that is.
Sometimes you think about them and forget their gone, but when you remember, it gets a little depressing...
Just think about how wonderful piggy heaven is.

we had our piggy two years. :( we have two others, and i've already decided that when they pass away i'm not getting anymore.

i keep telling Jacob that in piggy heaven they can run through the grass and eat all the hay and veggies they want! i hope our piggies are friends up there Dan! :hug: I dont know if mine was sick or not. But they can get sick easy and they hide it pretty good.

I hope my piggy is luffing on you twos' piggies. ;u;

I know I cried a bunch when mine died.

No, Munchkins seemed just fine the night before. D: According to my dad, it seemed alright the next morning before he left for work as well. But when I checked on them in the afternoon, Munchkins was lying in the middle of the cage, all limp and barely breathing. :( Died a few hours later.

That's odd...I wonder what happened to the poor little thing. ):
Hopefully he didn't die painfully with whatever was going on.

Yeah...I think it might've choked to death in the end though. I put it in a box with ripped up newspapers in it to keep it warm, but when I checked on it about a couple of hours later, it was dead and had this yellowish fluid clotted around its mouth.

I looked that up, and the few sites I could find were just basic sites that had diseases piggies could die from. (though, I suck at googling things |: )
I think maybe he did choke on something. Seems like a reasonable explanation.
Well, at least he didn't suffer a whole lot. That's always comforting.

Now it's just Nibbler left. Who nibbled on my fingers as well and now there's a large bite wound on my left thumb. xD;

I went out earlier today to buy Nibbler some food, since we're all out of its usual stuffs...I went to the same shop that I got the pigs from, but they didn't have any more guineas...

Yeah. Unfortunately, dad cut his thumb earlier today with a knife so with his wound being fresher, I still have to do the dishes. :gonk:

...Weird how everyone in the family (except for my brother who I don't know his status on) all currently have hand wounds. :sweat:

Aww...that's sad. But they are pretty popular (I think. xD) so that's not to surprising.
Maybe you can find another one in another petshop? or go back later?

My best friend was an only child, so whatever pet she wanted she eventually got.
The thing is, when she was younger she went through "phases"....

One phase was the guinie pig phase. She loved them until she went to her "bird"
phase and let the piggies die in the snow due to neglect.

Silly woman she is.

I would NEVER NEVER do that to my pets!
Although I was younger and it was partially my fault for piggy getting the cold and passing away, I felt awful for him and didn't want to just ignore him.
I didn't give him a lot of attention, but I still loved piggy. :c

Yea I was disappointed in her, but she was also only 7 years old at the time.
I kind of blame her parents more for continuing to get her all of these pets.

Cats, birds, dogs, fish, guinie pigs, bunnies... ugh. The place was a zoo.

True. You'd think the parents would take care of the piggies after she got 'done' with them, though...
They spoiled her with animals, so she felt like they were items. Threw them away after she was done with them...
That's what I'm getting from it, though.
