It's the same old one. They just replaced the screen. ;_; They want to charge me nearly $400 to fix the motherboard.

I am doing good and just a bit tired now, been up since 3am. So I am starting to get a bit sleepy, I am also trying to find a seller of the Dove set. The one I'm currently wearing is a loaner and I would like to get my own.

Oh wow! I need a new computer. Mine is a few years old, and was a cheapie at the time anyway.

Computer issues? Joy, I just had to do a system restore on my desktop the other day.

That's okay Roxxxy, I realize that the Dove set is a bit harder to come by. Chi is willing to sell me the headwings, but at 8k. That is way over priced as I just got a headwings for 6.5k not of a week ago. So I'm trying to see if she will lower her price of be willing to trade a few things so I can get at least the headwings

5 hard drives, a motherboard, keyboard, audio/speakers, and the optic drive had to be replaced as well as other issues such as getting the RAM reseated.

Blegh. Mines just super slow. It freezes up if i try to do even simple things.

I think it needs a factory reset. I can;t even do a virus scan without the thing freezing up, so a de-frag is impossible xD

Can you system restore back a whole 2 years?? ahahaha

Edit - oh yeah and i have a usb keyboard plugged into it now cause the keys broke, i think a friend spilt something on it when i had it at hers one weekend ><

I think you're getting System Recovery and System Restore confused.

System Recovery is setting the computer back to a specific date, usually before a virus or something like that set in.

System Restore returns the computer back to it's original factory settings. So you'll lose any programs that did not come installed with it.

Ah, we call it system re-format when we go back to the start, and system restore to a specific date. at least thats what my xp netbook says xD

And yeah hummy, they're simple laptops, compact versions. Most have Windows XP. I got it bought to do college work on and thats it, it was never meant to be filled with movies and music and loadsa of internetness i dont think haha. But i cant afford a laptop so i pushed it to its limit and now its dyyying xD
