Sorry to hear Angel. Is there a counsellor or someone at your school you can talk to about managing your workload better?

Not really I have tried talking to my counsellor countless times and it hasn't helped any I am suppossed to have a 504 plan because of my ADHD (one of the most severe cases) but it hasn't been put into place because my counsellor doesn't do anything.

I am in such a bad mood. >(

That's awful. I know my godmother had to fight a lot with a school for them to take her son's ADHD into account but she eventually got him one on one tutoring in addition to his normal lessons.

HIM would give advice but HIM was probibly the reason the school went into special messures anyway

Lucky him. I really feel like such a brat complaining like this to ya'll but really I need to just like get it off my chest because I can't really talk to anyone my parents would freak out, the rest of my family would freak out and tell my parents and they would freak out on me for not telling them in the first place my school teachers would call my parents and again they would freak out on me. I can't talk to anyone. And besides my ADHD, I may possibly have Aspergers Syndrome and lik 1 or 2 of my bronchial tubes may not be working because like just walking down the hallways in the school makes me out of breath. I am so freaking overwhelmed and along with my own problems I have to find and apply to colleges, make sure I am not failing my parents say I can't even have C's, and the freaking Senior Project is so overwhelming I feel like everything is coming down and crushing me.

I'm sorry you're not getting the support you deserve Angel. You have every right to complain and we'll listen the best we can.

@ Angel - So you know... Aspergers is commonly misdiagnosed with ADD/ADHD... because from what I've seen about aspies... they don't really focus all that well.

As for advice. Something I did in College that really helped me was taking everything a day at a time. Write out a schedule. Don't put times, as that would stress you out more but something like this:

Sunday - Look into/apply to colleges.
Monday - Finish Monday's homework.
Tuesday - Finish Tuesday's homework.
Wednesday - Finish Wednesday's homework.
Thursday - Finish Thursday's homework.
Friday - Finish Friday's homework.
Saturday - Prepare next weeks schedule.

The goal is to make your day look as easy as possible while keeping you organized. That way you don't feel trapped.

On school nights do your homework and you're done. Maybe chores if your parents need help but education-wise. As for Saturday/Sunday, those can be dedicated to the college work. If you submit something on Sunday they will receive it on monday no problem :)

My parents are actually supposed to be meeting with my counsellor soon to get me online classes so I don't have to come to day school It will be easier on my ADHD along with everything else including my self- esteem.
