Events on Mene are great, the community spirit is stronger than ever and there's always a few familiar faces that crawl out of the woodwork you haven't seen for a while. :)

I will never quit Gaia... I'm on a near indefinite hiatus... but it's where I met my best friend so I log on from time to time for the memories.. then I gag at the forums and log off...

I've actually just gotten back into gaia after being away from it for years. I don't like most of it to be honest, but I've always loved the breedable/changing pets(it's practically an addiction), and gaia's the only place I can find that has an active community for them, and the users in that subform are at least tolerable compared to the rest of gaia.

There are decent folk on Gaia but sadly it's the ones who aren't you seem to encounter first. The last time I was on Gaia and wandered out of a 'safe' thread (friend's charity) someone had been spamming the forum with gore. :/

@ Kat - I had some pretty nasty encounters back when I had the same username as I did on Gaia... the people I got banned on Gaia came here to harass me...

mine too. one the the moms at football practice tonight was kind of hitting on my husband. just because she's getting divorced doesn't mean everyone is fair game now. we all three went to high school together.

did you or him say anything llonka? o.o she should have been put in her place about that...

she was talking her daughter, the daughter was scared of hubby or shy or something, i see them everyday when i take jacob to school, and she asked her daughter what she'd do when she, the mother, gets a boyfriend. the she goes "what if jeremy is my boyfriend?" then she's like "well i think... he's married." ugh damn skippy he is. for six years now.. then she said something like, "well llonka( haha afraid to use my real name) would beat me up if i did". not like hubby would go with her because he's talked bad about her. i know he's loyal to me, but i just didn't appreciate her even saying something like that. her daughter is only five or six!
