I've been misgendered many times before and I honestly don't see why it's so offensive. It's an easy mistake to make; I look like I could go either way in the face, my real hair is as long as my avatar's, and I wear whatever I want regardless of which section it comes from. Usually ends up being the women's section because I can't afford men's clothing for everyday wear that's nicer than a graphic tee with a really tired overused design. At least there's more variety over in the women's section.

I've been reading back through the Admin of FuckYeahSocialJusticeSally's Tumblr. People actually have intelligent conversations about social justice issues. :O

Because being male-identifying is one of the most evil things a person can be. Especially if you have a vagina. THAT'S NOT AN IDENTITY YOU'RE A TRAITOR!

But trans women are okay. Just as long as they stay out of our women's safe spaces because then we'll have every reason to suspect them of being double-agents because penises.
It's really sad that most people prefer to make a mockery of social issues over having intelligent conversations on the cause and fix to the problem. Personally, I feel that we have absolutely the WORST climate for ending unfair social divisions. We throw money at the issue (see: POC/LGBT+/women's-only scholarships), creating more animosity and prejudice from the political majority, and we DON'T TALK about why we have to because it's a bad thing to be a bigot so if we try to be good people we can't be bigots nope it's totally black and white like that NOPE WE'RE DONE HERE no more talking stop that I'm a good person therefore there can't be a single prejudiced thought in my head really!
...but somehow I have a feeling that jumping on people and going OMG UR TERRIBUL PRSUN CUZ UR WHIET LOLOL EVUL WHITIE GO DIE over the internet is not the answer. >_>
