Hetalia...not my favorite anime of all but it is pretty damn funny. Its fandom scares me though.

@Apri: No fun! D: I swear, that's the only reason I'm even somewhat thankful for taking a semester off. Homework is evil. Most jobs, when you go home for the day, that's it, you're done for the day! Sure, you've got housework and cooking and crap...but you have that when you're in school too! I know it's trying to prepare you for a career that you'll enjoy and WANT to take home with you...but homework doesn't accomplish that in any way! I mean, I guess it teaches personal responsibility...but so does living.

But I think my favorite thing about homework is when you have a valid excuse that no one will believe. My dog really did eat my homework once. And one time when Cloud was in high school, his cat chewed up then peed on his homework.

...he put it in a plastic baggie and turned it in anyway.

Some years later he got a call from the school saying that they discovered why it was bagged.

All large fandoms terrify me. When it comes to really popular things I like, I prefer to stay in my little corner of "Okay, I love this to death and I'd love to talk to other fans of it...as long as we agree that the 'death' part doesn't apply to each other if it turns out we enjoy it in different ways for different reasons. Okay? Please say that's okay? D:"

Which is actually a very big corner but it gets drowned out by the "OMG YOU DON'T LIKE THE SAME PAIRING I DO!? DIE!" jackasses.

Honestly, though, as long as they stick to half-assed threats I find them really funny.
