Usually they just pick people who are really different like a super strict family and a really lenient family. They have to live like that family for some time and then they're allowed to introduce their own rules so it's all about the contrasts between them more than the couples living as husband and wife or anything like that.

You're not supposed to sleep with the other partner :/ You just swap lifestyles because they usually have two total opposites

They do have it in the US where Some scene are stage purely for entertainment purposes.

The American one is crap because they're never as mean as the Brits

I've only seen a couple of episodes personally but I'm more familiar with when the Celebrity Wife Swap with John McCririck was on the news because of how awful he is.

I've seen one of the celebrity ones and it was pretty good

Poet has seen wife swap... for about 5 minutes before turning the TV off... it's one of the many reasons poet doesn't watch TV

I rarely watch TV, but there are a few shows I love :) Take Me Out and Come Dine With Me are my main ones

My Freeview box is full of Come Dine With Me because I have it on series record.

HIM's found Paranormal Investigators to rival Most Haunted

I never liked those shows much. My friend loves Most Haunted though

HIM watched Most Haunted live with the webcast on once and one of the crew members dissapeared when he went though a door way he didn't turn up in the room he went into.

The Most Haunted live shows are usually hilarious. That's probably not what they were going for.

Poet just plays games and stuff instead of tv because of all the awful shows out...

There's the brides trying on dresses acting like snobby little brats
There's the HDTV which gets boring really fast
There's the food network channel which has a bunch of weird people cooking now...
There's the travel channel which seems to have become a food network spawn and shows mostly food..

Animal Channel, SciFi, and Discovery are really the only good channels for poet
