Oh... I try to get a popular brand... they typically live longer...
My parents kept their router for about 8 years T_T it was horrible... poor thing died all the time.

Little research told me AT&T has terrible routers

Hehe... just took a minute to find out. This is what someone who probably knows routers better than poet said:
Quote:
Linksys is probably the best but cost a little more, belkin is good, net gear is good, D-link is ok, for home use it doesn't really matter a whole lot any of them will do the job fine.
Not all of AT&T is bad but AT&T costs far more than it's worth. Poet will likely go with a verizon phone once the contract is over.

I don't know how to open a zipped file to the extent of destroying it.

Oh... well if you don't extract and simply drag them out of the zipped folder it can cause problems sometimes

The problem is that the files are compacted and doing that sorta force unzips them I guess... it might only happen with computers that don't come with an unzip program though. They didn't used to.

Aww... poets phone isn't too good either. What kind of phone do you have? Do you have a browser? or do you use the default?

lol. I never heard of ATTT before.
I am using DLink, pretty okay.

Depthmap is a rather specialise program. Not common like autocad. It is just for studying and research, for arranging some map data collection in space syntax. I don't really know what it means by syntax.

the phone is a landline.
it's got two crradle chargers,
only one works.
it's always 'searching for the base'
batteries don't last worth a crap.

AT&T is a USA phone company, rettie.
that's probably why you havent' heard of it, sweetie.

I remember when I was in UK, my rented flat using Linksys modem, and have problem with wireless. Not sure whether it is provider or router fault.
