dana-it is more I hate that I cant do that, I am so controlled by anorexia. It is nothing you actually did. I am however envious of your metabolism..Dana you are sweet and no offence was made by you don't worry (I wasn't posting because I am cleaning)

hummy-my cupcakes still taste good just arent they supposed to be unhealthy :P but my favorite are low calorie vanilla pomegranate cupcakes (may make some tomorrow if my pomegranate didn't go ripe)

Something to look into Ana, is dark chocolate if you like it. While sure it's not healthy per se, there's a lot less sugar in it than say milk or regular chocolate :3 (granted moderation is still needed) which would be good for making a small dessert like a piece of fruit dipped in melted chocolate.

Also if Ana is worried about weight gain just keep away from simple sugars :)
Also about the "fatty meats" I think Turkey is a good meat product that isn't full of fat. Tofu is delicious too

I haven't had meat since before puberty, and poet I am drew you a picture of your avatar, I just lost my ipod cord....and as for how i see food I see it as numbers going into a piece of a fat cell. I know just how many calories are one pound so I try and burn it off.

I'm one of those people who work out once in a while when I'm in the mood, but I really should schedule my workouts.
I should work out for thirty minutes a day five days a week.

Sounds like the same problem I have... I'm always rather malnourished...
Little bit of research, Lentils are a good source of iron and protein. Spinach is another good source of good vitamins and raw makes a tasty salad addition.

I am in love with spinach, I make a really yummy "dip" (I normally have it as soup though because NO CRACKERS, NO TOAST) I use spinach and even make my own humus to put in it (the seseme seed paste replaced with a homemade hemp hart paste :) AND lots of spices) :) I am a picky eater and most of my food looks like baby food :P but I like fruit and veggies (except the ones I am allergic to) On a good day I can eat without feeling guilty but it is never alot of food...

I can sort of understand what your going through Ana, except i don't have anorexia.

I have been diagnosed with depression and have been put on medication to of course stop the chemical imbalances in my brain and try to make me happy, in doing so, my eating habits have changed, meaning i would spend hours trying to decide what sort of foods that my body would keep down.

It's a bloody pain, but i don't like vomiting so i have go through a check list in my head to help me decide what i should eat.

I am thankful that i have default foods and drinks if i can't decide what i want though, they are sashimi on rice and cola.

But yeah, when i was out on a date with someone, it took some time to decide what i wanted to eat, it's more of a pain than issue for me. I, too, would like to eat what i want to eat without having my body reject it!
