Like I believe them... Even if that - they are NEVER getting any of my money. I just don't trust people - part of me feels like they are saying that because they're losing money from everyone refusing to eat there because of what they were funding. *shrugs* Not that I eat out a lot anyways. I try not to eat at fast food places.

Believe me - I don't go there either. I really don't. We don't have an Exxon station here. And ever since I heard about the Salvation Army, I've not gone to any of their stores or donated to them, and we actually don't have a Walmart in our town, and I never go there anyways. I do my best to support local businesses.

cold lasagna is one of my favorite breakfast foods!

i knew they were a Christian run business,
they are closed on Sundays.
i didn't know they were funding anti-gay rights movements.

They may not be funding them anymore, but the fact that they once did makes it kind of awkward for. It's kind like going to someone's house for dinner who you know "disapproves" of you. Even if they don't speak out against it publically anymore and they treat you civilly, it's still there in the back of your mind.

Also, Chik-fil-a is too expensive imo.

Yay! I'm glad! I love it too!! ^-^ I've been trying to try to eat Vegetarian as my sis has been pestering me, so I told her I'd try it for a month - so it's vege lasagne, but it's really good! ^_^

Yep, they were funding - at least they say it in the past tense, but I feel they are not being totally honest, because there were tons of people boycotting their establishments because of it... so they were losing money. :( I never did eat there before and I never will eat there again, even if they say they're no longer funding anti-gay movements. -.-

Yes! Exactly!! I'm in too deep - my twin was gay, and I was just a surrogate for a gay couple who're friends of mine, and I'm a strong supporter of gay rights! I just feel that it's not right to even give them money even if they swear that they're not doing it anymore. Nope - not going to happen! They aren't goin' ta get any of my moneys! >.< LOL!

That's good you support local businesses. :) Do they have days near where you live for local businesses that supports them?

And Wal-Mart is actually pretty inclusive now, I think. They have sexual orientation and trans inclusive non-discrimination policies and such. They actually seem to be going in the opposite direction, instead of just keeping their heads down about it like Chik-Fil-A.

You didn't hear about that last year? It was really big news in my church.

What do you mean? Like specific days in our town? I don't think so? but I could be misunderstanding you.
I just try to get food locally and whatnot - sure there are some things that one can not get locally. But I do try to do it as much as I can. :)
