Seeing those long lines of people going to buy food really made me sad - after they announced it.. :( Like "we don't support basic human rights, so we're going to give you lots of money so you can give it to people to make sure we won't be threatened by people who never actually have threatened our way of life." :( *sighs* Just makes me sad. =[

See, I feel like its more of a punch in the balls to go in there as an outward lesbian, with my fiance and order food with people staring at us. IMO I say fuck everybody, theyre not worth trying to avoid, so why not say fuck you in their face.

It's kinda funny, it made a bunch of publicity for Chick-fil-a and I honestly don't think they lost any business because of it, there were people were supporting what they were doing.

Well, I do get that. I do.

But at the same time, you are giving them money which in turn goes to fund anti-gay organizations... so it's kinda backwards as well. See the flip side there too. Like even though you are shocking people and just doing it to not avoid it. *shrugs*

I just try to get food locally and whatnot - sure there are some things that one can not get locally. But I do try to do it as much as I can. :)

I know in my town there are days where they have like 10% discounts for people who eat locally and support small businesses. There is other things too but i cannot think of it because i am away at school.

maybe they just are not as vocal about it.
and i look at love like this,
to each their own and eveyone deserves to love and be loved.

When I get mad and let things build up, I tend to not be understandable because when I'm super frustrated/mad/or upset, my accent gets so thick that no one, but my immediate family can understand me (normally just mum though). Haha!

I've never been to a chick a fil, I avoid Wal-Mart because they just scare me XD I didn't know about Salvation Army though. Hopefully they change their tune too

what bugs me so much about not allowing everyone to marry is the divorce rate
straight couples can't get the shit right and they get to marry!
why not allow everyone who wants to marry, marry?
i would be totally interested in seeing if those marriages work.
i think if you want something so badly that the divorce rate would be much lower.
