Ooh, thanks hummy. Just got back from lunch :) Starbucks was giving out free refreshers today, and I was lucky enough to get another free caramel frap at the counter because some guy named Anthony didn't pick his up!

So much for bad luck Friday.

@Roz: I have so many ideas for my room too, just lack of money and materials to do it. However I'm painting one wall white and adding an A.A Milne quote into the middle. Just to make my room a little more...me. :')

What sort of things are you planning for your room?

i've always thought friday the 13th to be lucky, but i get that from my silly grandma. she believes in ghosts and bad spirts too. haha she's told me how to make holy water even.

But yeah, I know what you mean about lack of funds. >.<

Well I want to get rid of the carpet and add cherry wood. Dad said maybe, depending if the guy has any available. I also want to paint the walls in lavender. >.< I also need to buy new curtains. Simple fixes, but when there's no money it all seems so expensive.

something about you leave the water in the sunlight or something.. i don't really remember.

changi- yup! i have only like 64th's of the Cherokee blood, but i do have an indian card!

@Roz: I wanted wood in my room, but my mum couldn't lay it so she gave me a carpet instead. I've always wanted wood though. One day. :) I have blue walls, but I just need to break it up a little. I have a white rug and curtains, so the wall will tie in with that. I glossed my wardrobe doors white too. I want to make my walls look a little more alive, everything about my room looks so sterile and untouched by personality. :c

I'm going to go to uni later. I might apply to get in next summer, but it depends on what my grades are this year. If I didn't do so well in my exams I'll apply to do a HND in legal studies instead. :) This year I'm going back to college to study Politics, History and Modern Studies.

Bucket, what does Modern Studies entail? I've never heard of that subject before.

changi- yup they do! it's like proof or something, so i can get free stuff if i wanted... but i don't ever use it. it's just fun to have.

hummy- hmm that's prolly it. she's pretty silly. and has a lot of stories to tell! i'm doing ok, boys and i slept in the basement last night. hubby didn't come down to tell me he was going to work. :( made me sad. and i think i'm gonna banish my scale to the cabinet for awhile, it's being mean to me.

LOL I'm sure, it's something great to have as a memory of your heritage and what you are. What other parts are you?

I sometimes wish I was multiracial because my best friend in elementary school was like part everything (Hispanic, Russian, Italian, you name it, she probably was it). But nopes, just plain Chinese I is.

Modern studies is a purely Scottish subject. :) It's sort of a mix between Politics, economics and sociology. :) I took it when I was in 5th year, but my teacher marked me wrong so I failed the exam...
