That's great to hear! I remember you sounded like you were in way over your head. I'm so glad things worked out as well as they did.

Oh, I was in way over my head, and drowning... things got better when my roommate's mom flew in for nearly 2 months to help out, which was a huge help with my roommate in the hospital and her needing recovery after her surgery and all that. It was an up and down semester, at least. But I'm glad that I managed to pass all of them, at least!

I've been told I'm on my own with college. Luckily, I'm not expected to pay for it or try to get a job while I'm still a student. If I had a job as well as school, I'd never get passing grades! I take way too long to do most of my work for that.
Speaking of hospitals, there were two people in one of my classes who had to stop coming because of stuff happening, including sickness. Scary stuff. One of them had to leave in the middle of class because of an emergency and might be still in the hospital!

My parents are helping me with school, thankfully. So I don't need to work as well.
Omg, crazy! MY roommate needed intensive back surgery 3 1/2 weeks into the semester.

Not having Internet and taking online classes made things tough for me. Other than that, nothing happened to slow me down further than me just plain working slowly.

Why is it, I feel like I no sooner get back from work and then I have to go back?

It's because you enjoy your time off. It happens to me also.

We got a bunch of snow yesterday... so hubby went out to shovel it and noticed someone had been in our yard. He's throwing a big fit, we had to take out part of our fence to get the scary tree cut down and no body has put it back up yet. So he's all upset saying that my dad should have put it back when it was nice.

Why would somebody be in our yard? Not like we have anything worth taking.. nothing is missing. Anyways I'm just tired of being stuck in the middle all the time. My dad isn't worried about it and thinks it is silly for hubby to be. *sigh*

Maybe someone just walked through as a shortcut?

@llonka ~ maybe they were just walking their dog or something.
Then again we did have someone try to get into my car last weekend. Don't know why they would want in it, but I have a door handle that sticks. If you don't press it back down it keeps the interior light on in the car. I know it was off when I got home from work, but when we got back home from my parents house my car battery was dead & the door handle was up. We were gone most of the weekend.

My hands are currently rainbow colored as I just made rainbow colored peppermint patties for my dad for Christmas, and I also smell like chocolate from dipping them all in. :P And I've also washed my hands, at least it's not a bad smell. :P

Off topic, but I'm surprised at how many versatile items there are available from regular shops on this site. I remember on Gaia any time there was an item I thought looked cool, it was something you either had to pay for with regular money or would have to save up and play the Marketplace for months before you could afford it.

I did have a bit of a panic attack when things weren't going to plan, but mom stepped in and saved the day, and they turned out. :] I ended up with like 15 more than I thought I'd get so that's good too - more for other gifts too! :D Sweet!!
Yeah, it's great to be home - mom did rearrange my bedroom, and mess a few things up - blah - but I'm learning to just deal. >.<
