Nope. All of the ads for what I bought had the Slim on the ad, so I just assumed it was what I was getting.
Differences? The original is the white one, which has no inbuilt Wi-Fi or Kinect port. The slim had in built Wi-Fi, AV/Component output and Kinect port, the newest one has Built in Wi-Fi, No Component output and a Kinect port. Also, the Slim had touch sensitive buttons, this one doesn't. Both the Slim and the newest one have better fans and a different hard drive.

I just stuck it on the console when I got it and I never manged to get it off, so I can't put it on my new one.

Put it on a teeshirt and make it a world wide challenge.

Oo that's pretty interesting. I think I'm glad I got the S mostly because the buttons are touch sensitive. It makes a cool noise when I open the tray. ^__^
