Oliver was always there for me, he was my listening ear, my shoulder to lean on, the one who'd drag me out of the house because he was the more social of the two of us... and then to have him just gone...? Like that. *snaps fingers* It's rough. Even years later.
I know that the doctors will make me take medication, and I refuse to take meds. I will not take them.
That's why I'm normally up at night, because lately they've been worse than they normally are.

I'm used to not sleeping, I take naps with my daughter, which are ok, and I know how to deal with this. I was an insomniac long before I had my daughter. I hate sleep aids, and honestly I'd rather not sleep than take aids and miss my daughter needing me at night.
Well, it's not really night terrors, what I have, but close enough that I consider them that. They're just REALLY REALLY REALLY bad nightmares.
And I REFUSE to take any meds at all. I am one of those people who won't even take meds for a headache (unless it gets so bad that I can't really live with it), because I hate relying on meds to get through something... I used to be on a bunch of meds, after Oliver's death, and I hate how they make me feel.

and its a huge thing to deal with so its not uncommen to get those nightmares
but there should be something out there that is not meds related that could help you get rit of these

Believe me dear, I know how to deal with this... I've been dealing with this for quite awhile now. I have my ways.
I hate meds, or any kind of sleep aid for that matter.
It's who I am.
I do get sleep, don't think that I have them every night, I don't. I do sleep. I get enough sleep. End of story.
No need to worry about me, I am FINE.

It's different between watching kids, and having them be their own.
