It's 5pm here... if you were all wondering... I'm in the PAST... not the future [rofl]
|
XD That's okay. That means we can warn you of bad events to come. That is, unless they're so bad we're not here… >_> <_< /brick'd
|
I want to join in with the timezone talk! It's 4am here c:
|
I have been with my bf almost 5 yrs. He's almost perfect.
But we are 30, and I want kids. More and more each day. He doesn't want them yet. I don't know if I can wait any longer for him to be ready. I would never pressure him. So, should I walk away? I just don't know what to do anymore. |
Did you try telling him this?
|
Yep. I don't think it's going to work out, unless he spontaneously changes his mind.
And if he did, I would be really suspicious. |
Is there any particular reasons he do not want kids?
|
He might someday, just not til we are financially stable.
Which is very logical; but we are starting to push time limits. |
To me it is pretty logical reason... (but I am not a person that waaaaaaaaant kid that much.)
Do you waaaaant kids so much that you want to leave the man? Have you talked to him with your reason of wanting kids now? List out the concern why must it be NOW/SOON? What might happen IF it is not done now. That is, if he is a patient person to talk over. XD Did he know about woman may not be fertile the older they get? |
I suddenly want to take a trip to America. >.>
|
Roxxy... if you're not stable that would be a pretty good reason not to want them yet. Having a kid will end up costing I think it was almost a quarter of a million dollars I think the numbers were for the average...
That's a lot of money... |
Wonderder... Why?
what is luring you over there? |
I don't know why I want to all of a sudden but I guess the food, the different way of life, different opportunities.. DISNEYLAND and yeah... the food.
|
Can HIM come ?
|
Aw I'm sorry, Roxxxy :(
Also it's true that kids are expensive, but you don't need to pay the 250K all at once. It's over 18 years so technically it is viable to have a kid on a low income. |
doing the math that's about 1100-1200 a month O.o dang kids are expensive!
That's how much an apartment costs up here |
I'm not a kid fan, I'd much rather have a VW camper van <3
Also, what sort of single people things are you looking for ha |
Honestly I don't know... I mean single people do stuff with other single people and do single people stuff right? o.o
I think if Roxxy can manage to cut a bunch of the costs out of the way she could probably manage it. :) |
Baby showers are a good way to get half of the little things you need gifted to you. Also I don't know how it works across the pond but we get bounty packs over here for free and that comes with some nappies and stuff in them which also saves a bit of cash
I always thought that single people stuff was the same as couple stuff haha |
Oh yeah I remember someone mentioning that... no bounty pack here :(
I really wouldn't know Vin... [lol] before I was in a relationship I didn't have interest in people in general XD |
They have a really cool one in Finland (at least I think it was Finland, it was one of the countries near there anyway) and it's like a box full of baby stuff and the baby can sleep in the box for the first few months because it's padded and baby sized
I do pretty much all the same stuff I did when I was in a relationship, but I have more fun because I'm single ha. Most of my friends are dating though so I'm probably inadvertently doing couple specific things and not realising ha |
That is cool... o.o
I see... cause I know single people go to bars and stuff but since I don't drink... that's a no go. Then there's the mall which... from what I can tell is a girl thing because guys never want to go there >.< |
Couples go to bars too haha. Also shopping centres seem to be more of a teen/woman place to go. It depends if you're wanting to meet someone else I guess, though if you're looking you usually never find anyone. Also, meeting people in bars is usually only a one night type deal because people who you think are the tits drunk are usually complete knobbers sober haha
|
Far cheeper to buy kids clothes from charity shops. HIM's not just saying that because HIM works in one. If you can find one in a good area you can get really good quality kids clothes for a fraction of the price they would be new and considering just how fast kids grow out of stuff it makes more sense when you're on a low income.
HIM's given up on romance. |
I used to get clothes for my dolls in charity shops because people donated such lovely things and it was cheaper than buying it new. After you give it a wash no-one knows the difference
I'm not really the sort for dating, I get annoyed by people far too easily to want to have one as my other half haha. |
