The $75 dollar item (which was a cat this weekend) was only available for a few days, but they have been doing crazy so called sales for a while now. During one of these sales they offered one of the old monthly collectible halos (I think it was the angelic halo) for $999, if I'm not mistaken. A lot of items are priced at $50 during these so called sales.

Its sort of sad that they keep raising prices on items & claim to be trying to fix the economy.
Weird how few people seem to play booty grab anymore, but its still blamed for messing up the economy instead of them doing the random chance rig items every month with at least a sell back value of 10000 gold.

I mean, what if someone has no fish? You can't earn gold from them, I would think... right? o_o?

The point of booty grab was the help make some money for the site by users purchasing fish. The user put the fish in their tanks & then the fish would give gold ever few hours. It was a way for the site to make money & for users to make some gold. It became the scapegoat for everything wrong with the economy on the site.

The Aquarium forum was the best forum on that site. We actually talked & helped each other & for the most part there weren't many trolls there.

I still enjoy booty grab even if I don't have any good fish in my tank right now. People can get fish from the daily chance so the option for booty grab is available to everyone.

I know booty grab did put a lot of gold into circulation, but it wasn't the only thing that did it. I still think the RIG's do more harm than good.
