Meaning, I think I suddenly made a significant improvement in skill. We'll see if that lasts into tracing over it in black pixels.

A good gnat trap: a container with orange juice or orange juice like drink in it (not full just remnants of the contents ) with a lid. When I was young my old sunny delight (sunny D for short) bottles attracted them like crazy, once they were in the bottle I closed it and threw em out with the trash! lol Worked great.

I put out bowls of soap and water, and I don't think it ATTRACTS them, but it does kill them pretty well if put near a light source. My mom used to use vinegar to catch them. I don't know why she doesn't do it now, but she wants to trap them without attracting more. We bought traps and put maple syrup in them and they work pretty well, but she doesn't let me leave mine out overnight because she doesn't want it to attract more bugs. That's no good for me!

The worst you could attract is ants (I would think) and as long as they get trapped to who cares? lol Your mom needs to be more daring with bug eliminating I think

We always have ant problems in the spring >> Spraying the perimeter of the house usually stops it.

We had ant problems before I was born. Glad I wasn't around for that. x_x
Once I saw a huge (like, 1 inch long) bug on the wall above the kitchen sink. I didn't know what it was and I was home alone. Amazingly, it stayed in the same place for what must have been hours. When my mom got home, she killed it and saved it to show the person who does pest control for our house. He said it was a carpenter ant. That was the kind of ant that used to get in the house, but not that size. Luckily, I haven't seen another. That was a long time ago.

We have trees in the yard that grow little apples called crab apples. They were really full this year, but now they're wilting and falling off. My mom has no idea who would plant such a tree and why. I think when I was little she said you shouldn't eat them.

Our neighbor behind us has apple trees to! Which I thought dad once said were crab apples......I've heard on the internet they are good for eating, I know another neighbors wife loves them, and takes bag fulls of them home.

At first my mom thought their abundance this year was attracting the gnats, but then we found out they were all over town.

Least gnats are easily killed, I use to swat them bare handed as a kid, I was a very good shot back then now I'm disgusted at they idea of doing it lol

Duck and swat is an awesome strategy, offensive and defensive at the same time - its especially needed when they want your food! D: Like my cats trying to eat it isn't enough! lol

Bee attacks are even scarier! I can't stand bees! Nothing like sitting just munching on a hot dog and this bee comes flying near you....
