EirianHikari 09-20-2013 04:49 PM

I'm doing alright, a bit sleepy though. I got up around 8 am for a moment to do something and was going to lay back down a couple hours, but never got back to sleep due to a cat losing all her breakfast, lol.

Amane 09-20-2013 04:50 PM

Poor cat. XD Is she okay now?

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 04:53 PM

She seems to be, I'm not sure what happened. She threw up four times. But she seems to be fine now whatever it was.

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 04:54 PM

Amane: Lol, yeah - sleep is an annoying thing, did it make sense when you rewatched it? I've seen this movie before, but I did start it just before midnight, no wonder I fell asleep.
I don't draw per say, I doodle (not my strong point), but I am a photographer, and a felt crafter. :]
And it is morning for me, yes - almost 10 am. I am on the West Coast of the US. It's actually pretty hazy here today, that's what I get for being closeish to the ocean - hazy mornings. That are starting to get cold. *laughs* Although not cold in comparison to what I'm used to back home. *laughs*

Eirian: That's good to hear, aww, take a nap. And poor kitty! :( I miss my cat.

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 04:56 PM

A nap won't be a problem for her. She's the laziest cat in the house, we actually have to work hard to make sure she gets exercise. She's been like that ever since she was a kitten, lol.

Amane 09-20-2013 04:58 PM

Yeah, it did. It's weird because watching dramas normally keeps me awake.
Like I said, talented person. o: I used to draw anime style, but I switched to realistic and am now incapable of anime style!
I like when it's cold because of my fear of bugs. Winter is my favorite time of year.

Yikes! When I was a baby I threw up several times like that. I don't at all anymore.

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:00 PM

Oh, no no. I meant a nap for you, Eirian, as you said you were a bit sleepy.

Amane: Sometimes when sleep decides to hit, you've got no control over it.
I can be - it depends on my mood. *laughs* I do wish I had thought to bring my felt supplies down here - I do hand sewn felt, not like felting - if that makes sense. :P
I can't stand the cold, and I'm hoping I have enough warm clothes down here, I don't know what winters are like down where I am now, I've been told it's different than back home... we'll see. xDD

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 05:01 PM

I don't even want to think about all the times I threw up as a kid. I was always getting colds and flu badly, probably been in the ER for it 10-20+ times up till I was 19.

---------- Post added 09-20-2013 at 01:03 PM ----------

Oh, I may nap later, we'll see. I always tell myself if I get tired I'll nap, but rarely do, lol.

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:04 PM

I rarely throw up when I'm sick - but when I do, it's bad. [sweat]

I rarely nap too, but sometimes naps are just a necessary thing to try to stay awake - like a short power nap. :P Or something.

Amane 09-20-2013 05:09 PM

That's for sure. [illgetu]
It doesn't make sense to me because I've never heard of handsewn felt. How is it different from regular felt (other than being handsewn, of course)?
I don't like the feeling of being hot, but the main reason for my dislike of the warm seasons is how scared of bugs I am. Remember I said I was so scared after seeing a moth that I spent the next day cleaning so I wouldn't think about it? I had seen the moth at night, so I just went to bed and cried until I fell asleep. I never, ever want moths to invade the house again like they did some years ago. Ever. I will literally go insane.

I wouldn't say I got sick a lot, but when I did get sick, I was miserable.
I'm physically unable to nap. I can't sleep unless it's completely dark outside. Seriously. Put however much light in the room as you like, and I can sleep as long as I know (or think!) it's dark out.

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 05:09 PM

I probably wouldn't have threw up near as much when I was little, if it weren't for this one eye drop I was on that lowered my immune system.

I always seem to get to distracted to nap, I always end doing something. Ether online or around the house, lol.

Amane 09-20-2013 05:16 PM

The sky clouded over again.

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:18 PM

Oh, I mean like - I cut out felt and hand sew it together to make felted stuffed creatures. It's regular felt, but you don't need .... hang on.... I've got pictures. It's no different, but you just sew it instead of felting it. Make sense? Like this and this. Both of those links are links to blog posts from my blog - I do have more than the ones on there, but the pics will give you an idea. Hopefully. :] Pictures help. ^_^
I don't like feeling hot either, but I am not a fan of extreme hot and extreme cold because my asthma acts up more and just makes my life harder than it already does.

I nap when I have headaches, I bury myself in blankets and turn off all the lights after taking Advil, and drinking a ton of water, and hope that my headache goes away, and when I don't sleep well at night, I Tend to take naps during the day, sometimes.

---------- Post added 09-20-2013 at 10:19 AM ----------

Same, but there are times that my body decides "Um, Nemo, you need a nap. Even if you don't think you need one, and/or you are too busy to think about sleep... too bad NAP TIME!" >.<

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 05:21 PM

Here too, I love when it does that. I think I'm one of the few people who likes cloudy days over sunny days. Everything is so much less washed out when it's cloudy, and I love how the colors are. :)

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:24 PM

I don't mind cloudy days - cloudy days here mean that it'll be cooler than it has been and I'm tired of the heat.
Although I still do burn like no other even with clouds. It's not fair. :(

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 05:26 PM

I tend to burn easily too.

Amane 09-20-2013 05:27 PM

Ooh, I see! I've heard of felt crafting, but it sounds like you make 3D felt crafts instead of putting felt on a flat surface. That's so cool.
I think my Internet is acting up and being slow. :/ Those links won't load for me, even though I can tell they're working. Mene isn't being too fast right now, either.
I didn't even know the weather affected asthma until I heard it on a commercial. Disorders and diseases and whatnot can make life so difficult. >< I mean, I'm lactose intolerant and sick of having bad eyesight, and that drives me crazy enough.

My body thinks the best time to sleep is when I need to finish work by the next day or I want to stay up late in celebration of having free time.

I like cloudy and rainy days, but NO storms!

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:27 PM

I'm Scandinavian - darn fair skin. >.< LOL

Amane 09-20-2013 05:27 PM

I was about to say, do you two have pale skin?

---------- Post added 09-20-2013 at 12:30 PM ----------

My skin is brown. Not dark brown, but brown. My avvie's skin color comes really close. My mom says I used to tan from going out to play for recess, but I didn't notice. Thinking back now, though, I think she was right. [lol] I don't go outside in this weather anymore. =w= My time is wintertime!

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:32 PM

You can make felt creatures that are 3-D with needle felting (like to make it into something with poking it with a needle, forget the technical term) this is cutting out pieces and stitching them together. :] The octopuses took me 8 hours (for the red one) and about 5 1/2 almost 6 hours for the rainbow one.
Awww, stupid, it's just pictures in my blog of some of the plushies - they're not really that big - that I've made.
It's no fun, let me tell you, it normally only acts up when I do massive exercise, but when it's extremely hot or cold, it acts up even more. NO fun at all!! T_T I hate it!

LOL, haha, same here. Although I don't do a lot of celebrating, I don't have much of a social life.

I love storms, providing I don't have to be out in them. [yes]

As to the pale skin, yes - my family's from Finland. Very pale skin.

HIM_ROCK 09-20-2013 05:34 PM

*Rolls in and grumbles about wishwall*

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:35 PM

Amane: This is an old old old picture, but I do love it, but here is me and my fair skin that loves to burn. I don't tan at all -- I burn, turn into a lobster (this has happened a few times, painful), peel, and go back to being white. >.<

EirianHikari 09-20-2013 05:35 PM

@Amane: I don't like storms ether, unless it's like super light.

@Nemo: Oh cool! On my mom's side I'm part Scandinavian too! Swedish for me, then makes up half of my heritage. I also have German, and we think Irish on my dad's side.

Hi Him!

---------- Post added 09-20-2013 at 01:36 PM ----------

Your very pretty Nemo! [:)]

nemo.love_22 09-20-2013 05:37 PM

Finnish here for me. [yes] Not only Finnish, but that's what most people see when they see me, because I look like my dad, and his side of the family, that the Finnish comes from. [yes]

Thanks, that's a super old picture. >.< I don't usually wear make-up, have my hair up like that with way too much hair spray, or wear fake nails, that's not who I am. >.<

Amane 09-20-2013 05:39 PM

Hmm, I might have seen that kind of felting before.
That long? [:O] That's dedication! I admire you. I bet they look great, too! I spend whole days on drawings of characters from the stories I write. If I don't have the whole day free, it could take almost all week.
I saw an asthma attack once. Scary stuff. O_O
My lactose intolerance is trying to take chocolate away from me. Sorry, not happening! [t2h] I already lost ice cream and most cheese products to it, and I am NOT getting rid of chocolate!

I think pale skin is pretty and tans look strange.
