Lets just say I know from experience what no food or water does to you o.o
and anyone who denies a person either of those deserves to have their head shoved up their ass

Hmm... I guess that those in charge are people who like to be in control. If that is the case, then silence is your best defense. When you are around them, don't say anything unless you are asking permission. You can come on here and vent, we will gladly listen. But with them, you need to do your best to protect yourself. Some people simply become unreasonable around people that they are around a lot... it can be the sound of a voice, the way words are used in a sentence, all kinds of weird stuff. I have been there... experienced that. It sucks.

Do you absolute best to get water. If nothing else, drink. And if not water, then anything. It doesn't matter what you drink as long as you get liquids in you. That will help you to not pass out again.

I've been in that boat too... it isn't good. Got hooked up to an IV... but it took over an hour to get the IV hooked up because I was so bad off that my veins were super small.

@ Mai - I turned ghost white when it happened to me o.o
I'd honestly prefer to be "sad alone"... it's too hard to trust people in this day and age. Even if I'm sure I can trust them...

If I try to get water from the bathroom they will yell at me for overreacting and lock the bathroom on me... The door to the outside is blocked by my dad's bed...

I understand feeling that way. Is there any possibility of using the restroom... cupping your hands in the sink and drinking tap water that way? Not the easiest or healthiest... but it keeps you going. I've done it so many times. And you won't be bothering the people that would otherwise make you feel worse.

What you should do is go to the restroom, even if you don't have to go, flush and all and then when you get to the sink just quietly drink for like 7-10 seconds?

Also, better to get locked in the bathroom and have water then to not... but if there is a way to keep a bottle of water handy, I would go for it.

Now so much like a child as much as like someone that they assume is a manipulating and spoiled brat. I don't like how unhuman you are being treated. But I can't change it. All I can suggest is rising above them... finding ways to prove to them that you are everything they think you aren't.

Parents who openly love one child more than the other? That's disgusting.

Rise above it. I'm serious, it might take a few months, but rise above it. Don't give in to the behavior that they are assuming you to have. Prove them wrong over time with your actions.
My dad always worked hard even as a teenager for his family. His younger brother never had a job in his life. Now my dad is like in his 50s I think and sometimes he still has to help out his brother and mother. But he drew the line once he was like 24 or something.
Prove you are you... a good human being... with how you live your daily life. It will be frustrating and hard, but I believe in you.

yeah, it isn't fun... my mom always let my brother talk to her about everything... even the things we weren't supposed to do... when I tried (on multiple occasions) she would lecture me and make me feel like the devil. Then months or even 4-6 years later she would blackmail me with my faults. I'm graduated from college 2 years ago... been pretty much on my own for 6 years... but she still constantly brings up stuff from 7 and 8 years ago and tells me how much I hurt her and how I am a terrible person.

Just sort of an oddball question, but do you have any disabilities Mina?
I ask because I have found that parents/family treat children with certain disabilities very badly as compared to a "normal" child.

There is no shame in helping care for another human being... let it help you grow. Don't let their decisions control how you feel or what mood you are in. You control yourself.

As Mai said, there's no shame in helping your mom. To be honest the fact that you DO shows you're a kind person ^^

It really does... my mom has some issues... she never learned to trust or to forgive. I'm impulsive so she sees me and sees in me all the faults of her sister... it sucks. Still, I'm trying to hold my temper and rise above it. Be calm, quiet, observant, hard-working, and hopefully she will see me as someone she is proud of and can forgive someday. Takes a lot of patience and a TON of compassion.

Ah yeah... Personally I've never understood that "family blood" stuff though... so if I am treated horribly by someone I don't feel they are entitled to my presence...
