Yeah, he's awesome, his wife is 85 almost 86, they get around pretty good. Actually ALL (or most) of the elderly people in my church do, another lady Mrs. L She is also 91 and still drives! The old pastor and his wife celebrated 60 years of marriage not too long ago. These people are awesome. But yeah Mr.B could be a mario go kart racer [lol]

That picture is so sweet.

I wish I had thought to have pictures taken of my horse. It was just such an
extremely abusive relationship with the ex. I did find joy in riding by myself though.

nemo.love_22 10-13-2013 01:54 AM

Can we change the topic? Remembering all of this is making me just want to curl up in a ball in the corner of my bed and cry. [cry] It's not good memories. And even the good ones are tainted. :(

I know right! I once on the news or a news program saw a story of how they were testing this elderly gentleman because he was doing so well for being 80 or 90 something years old (ya know good memory, no Alzheimer's, etc) and Mom and I thought if they think he's so impressive because he's beat the supposedly common "old age" ills than they would really be amazed at our church xD most people are 60+ and drive, help with food at events, remember lot of things (even from childhood!) etc This church could really change the norm on being "old"

yes, i agree

i'm hungry and don't know what to eat
i made a pork roast that was falling apart tender
too bad i didn't have any barbeque sauce to make pulled pork
=p

nemo.love_22 10-13-2013 02:04 AM

I'm in the same predicament, for sure! [yes] I may just go to the cafeteria, because that way I don't have to think about cleaning up and washing my dishes. [XD]

tigerangel 10-13-2013 02:06 AM

Can you make some barbecue sauce, hummy?

I has a question.
Do you think paying 2400 gold for the bargain basement costume {the one with the banana costume} in a fair price?

i don't think so
i think it is rather pricey

tigerangel 10-13-2013 02:10 AM

I thought so too.
Maybe if I wait until after Halloween, more than the one will be offered.

hummy 10-13-2013 02:10 AM

but the seller in the market place is an awesome person
she may be looking for goldies to purchase some artsu.

I might just buy it then. I like the idea of helping others.

The list...yeah, um.
How about this weather?

Definitely I love these people! ^-^ Its like having more grandparents or parents. Mr & mrs. B seem to have taken me as a grand daughter of sorts, shes always giving me things and teaching me things and than they took me to the dinner tonight <3 I helped out at their house doing yard work, and she showed me her herbs, let me try them and smell them, gave me some to use on a chicken, let me try a raw fresh tomato....^-^I'm truly blessed thats for sure.
