I hate when the phone rings

I'm not a fan of talking on the phone much either. >.< Although it does depend on who's calling.

Sorry I disappeared, I realized I had less then 5 minutes to get to the bus stop to catch the bus home, and had to run.

When I was little I loved talking on the phone, but I don't feel that way anymore. These days when the phone rings I'm like: "Please let it be a telemarketer, please let it be a telemarketer" because we don't answer those. It also means I don't have to talk , I dread when someone calls for me, like potential employers...not because I don't want hire but I am uncomfortable with phone calls. Especially when I'm asked 20 questions during one...xD

Gwena: I can get that. I don't mind picking up if it's my hubs, my mum, or my sister or brother. And sometimes Jon and Greg, depending on what time they call. And most of the time my in-laws, but anyone else, I'll glare at the phone and not pick up. If they leave a message and I do need to call back, I will. >.<

Barely, but I made it.

Answering the phone makes me a little nervous, but having to make a phone call bothers me more. I'm always worried I have the wrong number or I'm going to be annoying the person I call.

At least you made it - I've got horrible luck with calling people. I always ring them whenever they're about to run out the door, having to go to a meeting, already doing something that they can't stop doing. >.< So I tend to text first to ask if it's ok if I call. As long as I know that it's ok to text. xD I do prefer to text over call any day!

I guess I shouldn't of answered it.

Only people I've ever called is my parents, and my cousin kylie, I avoid making call too. And I answer em mostly because my parent make me, otherwise I'd so pretend not to be home

I answer e-mails great though

My husband once left me a message that was something like this: "Hon, are you avoiding answering calls again? I really do need to talk to you though so a call back would be lovely." I called him back and was laughing so hard I could barely talk.

I like e-mails soo much better then phone calls... I'm much better at returning emails then I am phone calls, i.e. usually as soon as I recieve them for emails, where phone calls might take me anywhere from a few days to a week to return.

OH! a new 'Thor' movie

I'm terrible at dealing with e-mails. I sort of forget to go check my account until I have to. Then its like I have that many e-mails so I just dump a few hundred of them & avoid it again for a while.

Same here. I do get somewhat fearful of e-mails though, mostly reading em, if I've sent an e-mail and are afraid the response might be negative - I postpone reading the response xD I know thats bad but I hate that sort of thing

I like writing as communication in general though, I'll write over talk any day. If job interviews could be done through notes, I'd ace em

I have done, voice chatting before though, skype and such

The drive-in has already closed here & they announced on facebook that they would re-open for Thor.
I'm still hoping that they will be able to get a digital projector, but it's not looking to promising.
I checked the Project Drive-in site yesterday & 9 have been saved so far, but it said there were 140 that still need help. The one closest to us isn't even on the list. The next one over is. I think both are owned by the same people so they decided to just put all their hopes on keeping the one open that their family started.

I use it mostly for keeping in contact with game friends (mmorpgs and such), I've also used ventrillo, raidcall, etc for that (their voice chat programs used by factions/guild I've been in). My family never call me on skype but I don't know if they even know if I have it, or if they even use it xD
