I'm a big fan of boots
I'm sure I have way too many pairs, but I just love them.

I have to wear pants/shorts to work all the time, so for me its a nice change to wear skirts.
Seems like I have been collecting the big full skirts, then I can also use them with my costumes for the Renaissance Faire.

I don't like shoes very much. I think I only have 3 pairs of boots, one is a pair of combat boots, one hiking boots to wear to work in the snow & one suede with fur trim to go with my fairy costume.

If i'm going to be a teacher, I need to get used to be dressy... :P lol. I wanna dress up though, just don't have the money to. tired of wearing over sized t-shirts and jeans that hide my fat.

I've just gotten into boots, they are cute! I have quite a few shoes, and I keep wanting more. lol!

I'd be embarrassed to say how many pairs of shoes, boots and sandals are in my closet.

I have such a hard time finding shoes that fit me proper, because I'm so picky. >.< I've got small feet, but they're wide, which is just awkward.

I know a lot of people don't or won't shop where I get a lot of my skirts at. I go to Goodwill, most Sunday's they have some stuff marked down to .50 cent. I bought a trench coat in there a few weeks ago for that price. All that was wrong with it was a button was loose. It is a nice coat, a little big, but I can live with that.

I just make sure to wash everything well after we get them.

I hate shopping for shoes because I have rather big feet, but they aren't wide. I wear a size 10 in most shoes.
Its about impossible to find anything cute in that size.

Darn I found a really cute dress on ebay but some one has a really high bid on it. :(

I've never shopped on ebay.

Damia- I've heard about ladies getting nice stuff at thrift stores. I've thought about trying it, I dunno if hubby would go along with that idea though.

Go without him.
Mine usually looks at the books in the store then goes to the car.

Actually he was really happy with a couple of things I found for him a few weeks ago. I got him 4 suit coats for $2, well a couple of them are gonna be altered to go with a costume for him for next year. We are working on Steam punk costumes.

Its a good way to be able to wear your skirts in cold weather and still stay warm.

That sounds like fun Damia! My hubby is a stick in the mud and would never go to anything like that. :( I wish he was more of a nerd like me.

Darn, I really wanted that dress, put like 20 bucks on it and still outbid. Oh well...

I guess that is one place where I got really lucky with Miscreant. He is a big nerd & avid reader. He can get distracted by books for a nice little while & it gives me time to shop. We have found all sorts of odd stuff at Goodwill. We have found some really old board games & even some from other countries. For me its like a treasure hunt every few weeks or months to see what I can find. I used to love yard sales, but I almost always have to work on Friday & Saturday so I never get to go to any of them.

Sounds like a lot of fun, I like seeing old or vintage things. I may have to take a trip to our Salvation Army.

I love shopping at Goodwill and yard sales. You never know what you will find there.

I miss going to yard sales. I should try to go back to the flea market sometime, but I don't really like our local one. The better one is a good drive away.

We have an awesome flea market in the north part of town and the people that run it are really nice.

Flea markets sound fun too.
