it's sad.

I first joined in 09 so I missed the first huge server crash when most people left. Then there was the leaving of Josh and the take over by Claire (at least I'm sure that was her name). That went no-where so then Jon took over and there was another server crash so all the newly gathered users left. The staff there became power hungry and most mods got above their station so I left after that. Then there was a good year or so when the site was basically inactive before Wingless bought it and started her reign on the site, letting the artist drive away Mithical who was basically there since the dawn of the site and by far one of the best staff members the site had.

It's a shame the site went tits up because the avatars are cute and the forge is a really unique idea.

Oh interesting, I had no idea there was a specific sort of.. type of person/classification if you get what I mean. I just thought it was a personality trait. Like, I had no idea there was a name for it.

Oh, I'd go crazy without chocolate, the one drink I still allow myself is Chai because I love the stuff. As long as I have water along with it, I'm normally fine, and I don't have it all the time, so that helps too. And yeah, ugh, yeah. >.< People ask me how do I stay up... and I go "I'm an insomniac." I am, and it sucks. I once had a roommate, who I was on great terms with, tell me that she was going to force me to drink a pepsi to make me sleep, and then when I mentioned "what about the headache" she held up a bottle of pain meds. >.<

Well, it is a trait - , just most people don't know what it is called because most people get it confused with shyness or .... omg, I'm forgetting what it's called... -.- Um.... >.< Where you want to not socialize with anyone and like to keep to yourself? Do you know what I'm talking about? xD The word is evading me. xD EDIT: INTROVERT! that's the word I was trying to remember!
Yeah, I only recently found out, because one of my friends is an HSP, and she was like "I think you are too, here's a list of the traits..." and I pretty much could check off every single one of them. And it explains so much about me and my issues and all that! I'm very good at hiding it most of the time, so people don't really believe me when I tell them that I'm an HSP, because in person, I can be SUPER social, even when I don't want to be, because I've gotten good at hiding the fact I hate being around huge groups of people and sound (just touching the surface of my issues that I've learned to hide). But I do need time to myself to recover after. Which is why I think I understand and get the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture way better than hearing culture. It's relatively quiet.

Haha, that Chai must be totally worth it! Oh my, it sounds like alcohol in the way that you say you need to drink water with it, haha. Man, your ex-roomate got it all worked out! Did it actually work? Are you able to take pain medication normally?

It is totally worth it! And haha, yeah, she does it have it all worked out. Oh, I didn't end up doing it - she was more teasing me than anything, and I can take anything that doesn't have caffeine in it. Stuff with caffeine in it makes the headaches stick around, it won't get worse, but it won't get better.

Both introvert and shyness are mistaken for people with High Sensitivity. Yeah, I found out about a week ago. And not that I can control it better, but I understand better why I am the way that I always have been and it's good to have answers for things. Yeah, it's great to have people who do understand that I am not really over reacting, but I truly do feel the way that I feel. Given that I was born with this trait, I do have ways to deal with it, that work for me, especially with the fact that I didn't have an actual name for the trait till recently. I do have a book my friend recommended to me, that I bought, but I haven't fully read yet.

It makes complete logical sense, and I can communicate without talking, which is brilliant, for sure!
