Same here. Got A LOT of catching up to do in 2 of my classes.
I spoke to my Anthro professor (she is also my mentor). She asked how things were going; she remembered I recently lost my job, and that boyfriend had been out of state for his internship, and she knew somehow that I had been gone all month because I was sick, without me even telling her. She said she understands my situation, and she will extend all deadlines to help me out. She is amazing. I just adore her!

It says 45 F outside. Not really that cold. 70 in here according to the thermostat, but my frozen toes say no way [lol]
It was so windy last night we lost power. Still windy today, but we have power.

Its 50F here. Usually I'm sitting right at my window which is super drafty, but thankfully right now I'm in another part of the house. I have to wear socks, slippers, and a sweater. My dad doesn't like turning the heat up very high either.

Blah, that sucks. I don't know what I'd do without the internet, I'd probably have to resort to reading a book... And that's just too archaic for my standards :P

I like to crank the heat to 75 in the winter, but boyfriend isn't having it [lol]
And since I am between jobs and he is paying all utilities, I can't really argue.
That's when I cuddle with my poochie to stay warm.

It's currently 38 outside and 71 inside here.
