I'm in Southern California (for now, I'll be back up in NorCal in less than a month), so cold is more of a reletive term - although the other day it was like 50 (I know, not super cold for the rest of y'all, but for SoCal that's actually pretty cold), and we had a pretty strong cold wind that was no fun to go out in. >.< But it's back up to nicer temps... again. *lol* :P

I know exactly what you mean about the "cold" SoCal weather.
Amazing how you're body acclimates itself to the weather that you live in at a given time.

Well, if it hadn't been windy, I'd have been able to handle it, the wind made all the difference to me.

I lived in the Ca high desert, and it'a always windy there.
I dislike constant wind as well.

I've heard of how they treat the animals - and how they get the skins for Uggs... I used to want a pair... not so much anymore. O.o :(

I have one pair of Uggs and another of Bear Paws.
I have heard conflicting stories on exactly how Uggs are made.

You shouldn't believe everything you hear.

But I don't know what material UGG boots are made of, so I can't say anything to that.

Sheep skin is what Uggs are made of. [yes]

And I've heard the same story, from MULTIPLE people and from different sources. [yes]

A point that was brought up is, how do you think leather is made?
Not many people bat an eye or be looked down upon for buying leather
coats, boots, purses, and so forth.

I don't buy anything either that's made of leather.
But just saying, that because of all of this -I used to want a pair of Ugg boots, and now I don't.

Whatever.... *dives into her corner and disappears*
