Heya Silver! Sweet Scary looking avatar you've got going there!

And going alright here, thanks!
Just got home from a giant joint Thanksgiving celebration with both my family and my hubby's family. :]
Made it easier than having to go between two different celebrations. Thankfully for the most part, everyone gets along. ^-^
How're you doing?

good job not letting them bother you today!

I really can't stand that cousin, but I just act like she doesn't exist. It's a long story & she is really a scumbag. I know I shouldn't judge, but yes she has done stuff bad enough to be thought of that way. Miscreant doesn't analogize her either.

Hello Tiger.

LiviIn ~ I'm good just tired.
It's nice that your families can get along & that sounds like a great holiday. I hate having to travel all over the place to hit all of our family gatherings.

I have a time trying to decide on a hair color when I change avatars.

LiviInLove 11-29-2013 03:49 AM

My family actually doesn't really celebrate Thanksgiving all that much - we only really got back into it last year, with this being a really rough time of the year for all of us. Most years, Alex would go and have Thanksgiving with his family, and I'd stay home, and be a lazy person. [XD]

Damia: Sounds like I can relate - I'm good but tired as well.
Yeah, definitely makes it so much easier for everyone, especially my hubs and myself. [yes]

hummy: Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Has it been a good one?

yes, very nice, thanks.
having things easy during the holidays is a good idea
there is enough stress associated with everything.

Damia Flagg 11-29-2013 03:56 AM

I have been going back & forth between darker & lighter hair.
I'm just not really good with making good avatars.

Well time to head for bed.
Good night everyone & hope you have a great day tomorrow.
For those of you who will be with the crazy shoppers all I can say is good luck & hope you come back home in one piece.

That's wonderful to hear!
Yeah, it's just overly hard for us, not that we're not thankful, it's just so many hard memories that we associate with this time of the year.

Damia Flagg 11-29-2013 04:03 AM

I will do my best. Hopefully traffic will be good tomorrow since so many people will either be shopping or will be back home & exhausted from shopping since the early hours. I think it is supposed to warm back up some tomorrow & that would be nice.

Good night everyone.

Roxxxy 11-29-2013 04:04 AM

I have to brave the Black Friday crowds tomorrow b/c the cat is out of food, and I am out of chocolate :B

Broccoli Mallet 11-29-2013 04:05 AM

DX Same here, my boyfriend is out of a lot of stuff, so we have to go to the store this morning.

i think it's a wonderful idea to combine all the celebrating
even if it helps a little bit it's a little bit less to stress about
*hugs*

Work was super busy, I thought it would be much slower.
I was able to leave an hour early though.
The gravy and mashed potatoes came out great.
We all had a great time.

Yeah, I'm just glad that my in-laws and my family all get along.

Even if I am usually the one hiding in the corner, not completely sociable.
I do try, but it's still a rough day over all.
But I do go. [lol] At least now I do. :P

Hi Liv!

How're you doing, dear?

And over all it was alright, I suppose. Didn't do much - We went to my in-laws, to have dinner with my family as well as my husband's family, but thankfully they understand that with everything going on, I am not the most sociable person this time of the year, I kinda helped. I got help mash potatoes. [lol] But I'm not the best person in the kitchen, I tend to burn things. :P

Well, I did make the salad as that doesn't require heating anything, so it's not possible to burn it. [rofl]

I'm glad that your in-laws were understanding and the day turned out alright.
I was happy to not have to do much cooking this year.

hummy 11-29-2013 04:26 AM

you are special, Princess!
did you get anymore votes for your new shoppe name?

They're all a great bunch, I lucked out, for sure!
Given that I'm not huge into actually having Thanksgiving as most celebrate it, just me being there is enough for them - from what they told me today. [yes]
