y'all are very lucky.
it's hard to dig up things from frozen ground
plus strenuous activity in this cold is dangerous
people have heart attacks just shoveling the drive way!

So many updates. I should set aside all night to install them all. Stupid australian internet means it'll take a few hours to download them.

Why is it slow?

I agree, can never be too much wolverine!

Now I'm wondering why there is no wolverine fan club? [lol][XP]

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 05:21 AM

Just because it's Australian. We get 2Mb/s download at the fastest.

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 05:23 AM

What country do ya think has the fastest internet? o.o

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 05:24 AM

It's either Sweden or Switzerland, I think. There's somewhere with upwards of 1GB/s downloads.

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 05:26 AM

If its sweden then: go sweden! :D *moves* That would be awesome just because I have swedish heritage xD (my mother's grand-parents on both sides came from there [lol]) Okay now I have to go look up and see, I'll be disappointed if its not sweden now though lol

Stardragon 12-11-2013 05:27 AM

It is Japan and Korea is close second.
@Sleepy Anarchy no wonder I sent a many of Australia's fighters bouncing off the walls.

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 05:30 AM

I know there used to be someone that had insanely fast internet in either of those two countries for some reason. I don't remember how or why exactly though.

Star: Fighters?

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 05:30 AM

Found this while lookin Netflix says Netherlands has the fastest broadband | Internet & Media - CNET News

hummy 12-11-2013 05:31 AM

I've heard it's Amsterdam then Switzerland

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 05:39 AM

I wonder if I should give into this fudge sitting next to me? o.o

Yes the game was Dead Or Alive 4 and I rose to the rank of A and I was using Kasumi.

Yes, yes you should

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 05:52 AM

Oh, yeah. We get absolutely screwed in fighting games. DoA is probably the worst for us too, given the fast pace of it. To beat anyone, we have to predict everything. Hell, I used to do it so much with FPS games I was unable to play on LAN because I was compensating for lag that wasn't there.

Okay I did. And it was peanut butter fudge to I think [drool]

I got from the CWF Christmas party (which was awesome, freezing cold out but it was worth going out in the bitter cold). I love the ornaments they gave to everyone too, nice heavy metal and the santa bubble head is just adorable.

hummy 12-11-2013 06:03 AM

Bobble heads are so cute

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 06:05 AM

I'm usually not fond of them but this santa one is kinda awesome, h's sitting by my computer and I can't help but tilt his head so his head bobbles around [lol]

hummy 12-11-2013 06:15 AM

I love baseball bobbles

Unless you catch the fighter inmid attack then your slow speed could
aid you.

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 06:19 AM

Nope. Doesn't happen that way. We never get the good side of lag. On the off chance we get a hit in, we're not aware of it until long after the opening is gone. I'm pretty sure most people who play online fighters here just mash buttons in the hope that they find a good combo/

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 06:22 AM

You make my sometimes slow internet, not sound nearly as bad sleepy o.o I am now more appreciative of what I have!

That bites. At least your not Mexico or South America they are even slower.Night everyone.

Sleepy Anarchy 12-11-2013 06:31 AM

Gwena: It can be worse. 2MB/s is the very best I can get. It usually sits at about 800Kb/s

Star: Their internet might be slower, but it's technically better for gaming than ours is. They're closer the the majority of the servers and hosts for games, so they'd have lower ping for it.

hummy 12-11-2013 06:37 AM

Night star

GwenaHikari 12-11-2013 06:39 AM

Night stardragon :3

Yeah I'm not sure what the speed of our internet is but I'm pretty sure it ain't that bad, at least not typically. There are times when it gets so slow a snail could cross my room before a webpage would load....lol
