Hello Wolf :) How are you?

Skulduggery 05-20-2013 03:27 AM

And I am now, Lester. :D
Of course, I'll need to get a Bow, and Arrows if they have them, but that stuff is expensive. I'll get it later.

Ireland or Scotland would be a fun place to hangout too. But that is probably just me.

I have to admit that to see both places would be really neat. I have seen pictures of the countryside and their scenic views. They are absolutely lovely. I love how Irish talk and really enjoy Scottish history. To immerse myself into such cultures would be a rich experience and an opportunity for many pictures.

It has? And you never told me? Why do you want to go so badly?

That is a good question, what do you think it might be?

I think it might be a historical place somewhere in Menewsha :D Because we borrowed a house, then a boat, so that just seems like it would be next.

~Wild Spirit Wolf~ 05-20-2013 03:55 AM

Wolfie is fine.How about you?

maidenroseheart 05-20-2013 03:59 AM

Maiden is also fine :)

So what is the story behind your avatar Wolfie? I can tell that he is a singer but he has both a microphone and a headset... kinda cool looking regardless. What are the bandages for?

Sereh 05-20-2013 04:00 AM

I'm interested in the heritage there. I think it would be fun to explore the areas too.

That's good to hear Wolfie.

maidenroseheart 05-20-2013 04:10 AM

I think overall I would prefer Scottish history to Irish history. The Scottish people are a noble group that I admire. The Irish have a strong spirit that gets them through rough times, but their fighting over religion seems silly to me and I don't understand it. Whatever though. I haven't walked in their shoes.

Sereh 05-20-2013 04:19 AM

I've always wanted to learn more about the Celtic religion. Its fascinated me for a long time.

You could always start with the history of them first to form a framework to learn in. That is easy enough to do with the internet these days. After that, you could start learning more indepth. The religion itself though would differ slightly from person to person since it isn't an institutionalized religion like many are nowadays. Not that I have anything against them. I am an SDA after all. It is just that it would be different than you would think with different groups believing in slightly different versions.

Sereh 05-20-2013 04:33 AM

I didn't realize it was that in depth. I'll have to start looking into it.

~Wild Spirit Wolf~ 05-20-2013 04:36 AM

Erm,well,Wolfie was going for singer. The bandages were just to look cool, like rock star kind of thing.^-^* Wolfie has only like five inventory items,so she works with what she's got

Wolfie happens to be Irish. She thinks the religion thing is rediculous, but the heritage is just fascinating.Especially the folklore! Wolfie is interested in Scottish heritage, too. And Asian, and American, and just about all of them,really.^-^

maidenroseheart 05-20-2013 04:37 AM

No religion is simple. It is where you put your soul on the line, so it would have to have depth to it. So I highly suggest taking the time to research things out as well as make sure your sources are credible. Don't rely on just blahness thrown out there because someone could make a website or something.

Oh okay, that makes sense and it really does look cool. You only have five inventory items?! Seriously!!

I love the history past the religious wars as well as the folklore and music. I like reading up on revolutions and large changes that changed how people think. What led up to such events and how did the changes affect their culture.

~Wild Spirit Wolf~ Go check your trades, I put some small little things in there...

Sereh 05-20-2013 04:52 AM

I'll make sure I find credible sites. I figure if I get my information from multiple sources, I'll be able to figure out what to believe and what not to believe.

musasgal 05-20-2013 06:10 AM

come on hangout...please come....

~Wild Spirit Wolf~ 05-20-2013 06:13 AM

*Sigh* Wolfie is off to bed now.

It's not all that bad. I only have the items you see on my avatar, since I sell things back to keep my money up, as much as I can. ^.^

musasgal 05-20-2013 06:20 AM

night wolife

The_Crow 05-20-2013 06:23 AM

Is this where we say goodbye to the houseboat? Time to slice the fine cheese and pour the champagne... wait... I don't have the champagne CI... donations will be gladly accepted -Tips hat upside down and places it on the ground by hir feet and gives an 'Award Winning Smile (TM)' that looks actually just downright creepy coming from The Crow-

Phobos and Deimos 05-20-2013 06:49 AM

Can charity birds, er, 'mules' qualify for the drawing as well? If not please ignore us and enjoy our miniscule contribution to the thread. However it would be nice to recieve some gold, after all we will just give it away again in one way or another. If we are not using it to purchase clothing for the newest menewshans to happen across our path, we also love doing fly overs and dropping gold on people's heads. It's quite a bit nicer than what birds offline might drop on your head or car when they fly over, if you know what we mean :)

RosesBlush 05-20-2013 06:58 AM

Oh double darn, this place is soon to close I hear and I've only just discovered it due to my new-ness. Ah well.

There is another one opening soon so you're not missing out

The_Crow 05-20-2013 07:04 AM

RosesBlush: Don't worry, dear. It appears that the 'community hangout' seems to be a relatively new weekly invention by the forum moderators to try to get people out of their own 'comfort zone' threads and get more people interacting with one another. THIS particular one with the theme of the houseboat (my very first post was the 'I'm on a boat' Music Video) is about to close. However there is about to be a brand new one shortly and you can join in at the very beginning and get to be in on the conversation from the ground up, and make new friends that way.

Also if you are new and have questions, you can feel free to stop by my charity. You are clothed already but we can still answer any questions you have and perhaps give you a welcome gift for hanging out with us for a little while. Being 'new' should not be a hinderance in any way :)

[EDIT] @musgal JINX! ... more or less. I was just being more wordy... as usual.

star2000shadow 05-20-2013 07:05 AM

yeah they close this thread, open a new one to get us talking in new forums and such 'nods'

RosesBlush 05-20-2013 07:07 AM

Thank you Crow. I'll defintely keep an eye out for it.

musasgal 05-20-2013 07:13 AM
