Mm... It's a color used on a site called KofK. It's kind of a dull reddish pink, I guess. Just now, I searched it and came up with wine. Wine color is good too.

you can check your threads made by yourself and see if there are replies. but no, you don't get individual notifications for wither. just the ping

I don't think there is. Most people will usually ping you if they quote you after a while. And You can subscribe to threads, which will add them to some list on your own page somewhere, I think.
