I appear to be getting forced into this Keytone diet nonsense. If I don't, I'll gain a ton of weight because of my family being on it.

It's a low carb diet where you eat a lot of fat in order to train your body to use/burn fat instead of carbs and sugar. You end up losing weight because your body starts burning your stored fat as well.
