Alrighty, I took a picture of two of my high school artworks.

The first one is the sirens:


And the second one is Medusa:


My portfolio was Greek and Roman mythology based. More Greek than Roman as the names are more recognizable to most.

The pictures are terrible quality, but there are plenty of flaws in both of them. I hate the face of the main Siren and Medusa's head needs to be more rounded. But if I'd waited for perfection I would have never finished them.

You can't stand how they turned out, yet you still post them here. *wipes tear* Beautiful.

Haha, yep. I'm not really a "hold it in and hide it" kind of person.

I'm an "avoid looking at it and destroy it once a better version has been made" kind of person.

But tell me...are you ever satisfied with what you make? Or are you forever redoing things and hiding them?

Oh, yeah! I have plenty of drawings I still love to look at. I don't want to redo them because I can't improve them right now. Not that I see much room for improvement. But if anyone ever saw my drawings, BAD THINGS would happen. No matter how good I think a drawing is, I'm too shy to show it to others unless I planned to from the beginning.

Awww, you gotta start working on being okay with sharing yourself! The world needs more Amane in it!

It's a little one, but that's all it takes to unsettle me when it's nighttime.

I wish it would storm every night. Although I always feel bad for the kitty.

The most bearable time for storms if they must come is during the day. As long as the sky doesn't get too dark. I'm less scared, but not calm. I try to sleep through it, but I can't sleep in the middle of the day!

Haha. I sleep like a baby during storms. No animal sounds.
