i always check the bulletin board at the commissary

My mom suggested putting it in the newletter that goes home every couple of weeks from my school! I think that's a great idea!

The reason we can't do fundraisers like the dance is because my teacher doesn't want the kids who don't have a lot of money to feel like the kids who do have a lot of money are better than they are because she thinks the kids with a lot of money will show up dressed to the nines...while the kids without the money can't.

But we could definitely do like a "rock and roll theme: wear jeans, a shirt, and sunglasses" or something...and it wouldn't be a problem! But she doesn't like it - so we can't do it

It's footage of the group getting ready for shows and photoshoots and messing around with each other, and they talk about what it's like and what they hope will happen, and they also record special messages for the fans and each other when milestones come up.

She also hasn't allowed Talent Shows - but the PE teacher and I have almost convinced her to let us have one :) THe proceeds would go the relay for life the PE teacher is doing - maybe next year the proceeds could go to music stuff :)

But yeah - she thanks me all the time for my hard work and always tells me that I'm doing a great job - I'm really happy for that because my last principal never complimented me...ever.

it's not always overwhelming
and you will get used to the ebb and flow here
sometimes it can be really slow
but if you ever need someone to chat with you can always come to any RAK threadie

My old Principal told me she would "pray I didn't get a new job" because she wanted me to stay. Considering she works at a Catholic school...that's just about he most un-Catholic thing she could have said to me >.<
