My hair is too thick for most barrettes. :( They just fall out, because either I try to fit in too much or not enough. :/ I have some really pretty ones though, but I can't wear them.

My hair is to fine for barrettes, no matter how much I put in it falls out.

When I met Marlee Matin, what I did for that was I put it up in a loose ponytail, and then wrapped it around so it was flipped over the top of it, if that makes sense. Simple, yet it worked. :)

I wish that I had gotten pictures of it - I have it from the front, but you can't tell that my hair is there, because of how I'm standing. I looked. Darn! But it was nice. :)

the first think I notice is the really nice lace dress that looks to fit your body really nicely. did you get it tailored?

Eirian: Oh, that's how it looks most of the time. :) That's a typical look for me most days when I just throw my hair up in a pony. :) Thanks. :)

Lunna: Actually nope. Found it at a plus sized store. That's the dress that my friend told me "I told you so." when we found it at the plus sized store as she said that we would only find a dress that would fit me at one of those stores. -.-

It helps too that they helped fit me with a bra that would help it as well. Uncomfortable after a few hours, same with the shoes. I got home and gave up on walking the next day, but it was worth it. :) It kind of was uncomfortable as it was a bit higher than I normally am comfortable wearing, but it worked for that night. They said cocktail dress, and that is a cocktail dress. :P

Thanks, yeah - the bra really played a key role in it, pretty sure. [yes] :P At least I feel it did. xD I have bad self esteem when it comes to my body.

well if I were you I would go back and see if that shop had some more nice things that fit you just as good as this one did and buy them up. when you find a place that has an cut that makes you look good. snag as much as you can of it before they change their cut.

My sister had a body like yours and she has found when it comes to dressed that an empire waist looks really good on her. you might think to try that look for nice dresses.

I'm not huge on dresses though. :/
And I got that dress during a sale that they were having, I don't have the kind of money to go there often. It isn't a cheep shop.

oh.... yah that could clinch it. well if you ever find a shop that has a style that works well for you and is in your price range grab up as much as you can. most stores change their cut and fit often enough that you want to snatch it up as soon as you find it.

The friend I went with to get that dress loves fashion too, and I just about strangled her at the end of the day because she was getting on my nerves. I know too that for her, my weight is an issue. *sighs* D:
