DDR was a huge part of my early life. *nostalgia*

Mag: Isn't it? I started giggling in happiness when I opened it up. And she's currently working on making me TARDIS magnets for my fridge. She knows what I like! ;) Haha! And I have another friend who also has TARDIS magnets who said that she was going to send me one for Christmas - belatedly - as she's making me an Adipose plushy, so she'll probably send it with the plush. :D I'm surrounding myself with Doctor Who related things. :D

It all stemmed from the whole my roommate having her dog who's not completely certified, and a friend going "Omg, you need a Service Fish." and then it got into that I would name him Barrowman, and she would get one named Gill () (Do you get it? The reasoning behind the two names? :P) but as for how to transport him and what I would do with the fish over breaks is still causing issues. And I've been considering getting a beta. I just don't have a complete plan yet.

When you're imitating a character that can use magic and hear a weird rumbly noise… I felt really natural for a moment there and had to make sure I didn't actually do anything! That would've been bad, considering I was pretending to light a fire.

But, yeaaaah, breaks could be tricky. I mean, bettas aren't that hard to transport by car, but you can't fly him home very easily. You can ship them, but it's stressful on them. A fish sitter is probably the only way.

Haha, yep! :) We also found it funny because fish and gills, and all of that. But by that time it was late and we were loopy so everything was funny.
Yeaaaah, and finding someone to fish sit over Christmas break may be hard. Because I tend to fly home for breaks as it's much faster than driving. Well close in time, but the flight from SoCal to NorCal is only an hour instead of sitting in a car for like 8 hours. But that's not the point, I'm getting distracted. Yeah, that was what we came up with as well, it would just be a matter of finding someone to fish sit him.

It's possible he'd be fine for a week or so. They have time released feeders and as long as he's in a place with generally even temperature, a week wouldn't be too bad at all.
