The weather is terrible here, too. Boston's pretty much closed due to the weather. I'm north of it and the weather here isn't any better. I did successfully make it to work. B| #awesome

-15F windchill here, kids got out of school today thankgoodness. One of the girls in my mom's class (mom is a teacher) walked to school yesterday. It was waaay too cold and snowy. She's only a second grader!

It sounds nicely located! ..if only I liked beaches. Still nice nonetheless. Our university backs onto bushland, not as nice as a beach.

I'm not really a city girl and it's basically down in the insanity that is Los Angeles - I'm in one of the smaller towns outside of the main city but all it is is lots and lots of people and freeways and noise. O.o (which I'm sometimes ok with, not all the time). I'm not a huge fan of beaches, more because I burn way too easily but I do like the ocean - or at least I do sometimes. :P

Not much. I'll be sending my car in for service a little later. There's been a weird sound in the engine the past few days, which I suspect has something to do with the belt.

It's now 7:08 am, but I woke up at 6:30. :/ On a day that I don't actually have to be up early on. Fail. Haha!

Oh, hope that it's not too expensive to have fixed. :) (I'm not really a car person, and I'm hopeless around them, so I don't know much about them.)

Well, I suppose one way to look at it is having more time to do things during the day?

The belt might possibly need replacing, which would cost about 100 to 200 dollars, depending. Oh, that's okay.

Oh, that's not too bad. Could be worse. My brother just spent almost 2k on a complete engine rebuild. >.< Yay. LOL.

Ummmm... I think it was only because of repairs? *shrugs* All I know is that we had to go and pick it up when we drove him back to school - rather we went to pay him and a friend from school came with his truck to pick it up. :P LOL! But it's back in the car now, and it's running again, so that's great! :)

Haha, yeah! He was supposed to drive himself home for Winter Break - he lives in another state for school, but that kinda got derailed - but things worked out and he did get home. And because of it all, I got to see his school town, so that was fun! :)

It helped too that he lives with three friends who all go to the same school and airport as him for classes and flight! :) So that helped him get around for sure!

It has been crazy hot!!! Enough to make you believe that you're actually melting
