Thank you Raven!! :] I'm really happy with how it's turning out - despite how long that tree took me to sew down - about 4 hours - just on the tree. O.o But I'm happy with it! :)

Oh, yeah - all my pieces are done by hand. :] I don't like a sewing machines - I have a bit of a fear of them - when I was younger I managed to stab my thumb through the thumbnail with a sewing machine needle... I tend to avoid them now. I find that sewing by hand calms me. I'm strange.

Yeah, just kind of painful. *sarcasm* (It was really painful.) So yeah, sewing by hand is just a little bit safer. I do jab myself from time to time in the thumbs or fingers, or lips, or face -- don't ask how I manage the last two, but those have happened just a few times... it hurt. But it's safer than a sewing machine - to me at least.

Sewing isn't for everyone. It just happens to be something that I enjoy. :)

With the mint tea - honey as well.

I usually always keep honey on hand. I like it instead of jam or jelly on toast and english muffins.

I don't drive, so I have to walk, and that's pretty far - about a 45 to 50 minute one way walk to the store. And I don't have the time, nor the energy, go and do that. >.< I'll get around to doing it. At least I have a meal plan so I at least have access to food, and money on my 'dining dollars' that I can spend anywhere on campus, so I can get food when I'm out and about, as long as I'm on campus, here at the dorms, or on main campus. :)

For those of you who want an update on the felt valentine I'm making as a homework assignment - here it is, the tree is basically done and as for the placement of the hearts I got another idea so those aren't set in stone yet. But with the plan that I have, I also now need to cut out some leaves. Haha! But here is the current work in progress.

Hummy - this is the update with my project. :)

My thoughts behind the moving the hearts around - is that even when it rains, she turns the negativity into love for her babies - the two hearts - and turns that into power to make her beauty - the tree with the leaves, that haven't been cut yet, grow. :)

It's fine, I'm distracted sending video messages to my sister - who's taking an ASL class this semester and I'm trying to give her practice. :)
