Oh, and I forgot to say. I quit reading fanfiction years ago. Back when the dirty ones were still called lemons. Now, in the world of fandoms, I'm learning that a lot of people adore fanfics, especially of the lovey variety, especially of the *cough* mature variety. Yuck. I've seen exerpts from such fanfics as jokes or just to say, "What the [ducky] are you people doing?" I'm telling you, those things get WEIRD. Lookin' at you, Asianfanfics writers. As I'm reading analysis of tropes in mythology, sometimes the descriptions of the comparisons get so dirty fanfictiony. /these comparisons of having kids to farming get WEIRD |
My fanfic isn't about the romance of a canon character x another or my own. It is my characters in their world. I make sure to stay on the plot line so It doesn't sound so off of the plot like some fanfics are. Mine is just what happened in the plot line in their eyes and the struggles they go through and face. |

Cool prank: if you know somebody on Mene and technically have access to their computer, change the Mene background to "Seizure" and set their default Internet font to something obnoxious, such as wingdings or a downloaded font based on someone's handwriting. |
Agreed. I think that is why a lot of people like my fanfic so much. That and my descriptions aren't so confusing. Though I need to work on my wording. ~.~ |
I don't let people read my stuff because I'm not confident in it and know it'll be embarrassing later. I guard those like babies in the nest.
