Hey do you guys have any ideas for giving back at the Holidays?
We're going to donate old toys to the children's shelter, make gift baskets with hot chocolate, coffee and baked goods for our local fire department, and donate homemade toys and old blankets to the animal shelter. Does anyone have any more ideas? I was thinking we could volunteer at a local nursing home for one reason or another. What else? I need more idears. |
My nan always does this thing where you send a shoe box wrapped in xmas paper with things in for kids in poor countries.
She puts things like soap and toothpaste in as well as nice things like crayons and a coloring book and a cuddly toy. It's sweet giving a kid something nice for christmas :) |
I love that idea! How do I do that? Is there a website with information somewhere? My daughter would love adding things to that box!
