CloudDreamer: I feel the same about my home life. My parents have been asking me to apply to colleges so I can move out of the house. Every time I even suggest the idea of getting an apartment they say that I am nit responsible enough. I have lived in five third world countries without them for an extended period of time and they still don't think I am responsible because there are days when I forget to bring the trash in the house out to the curb.

Oh, my parents have offered to help with an apartment, but I'm out of here in 5 months... plus I don't drive, and I use the cafeteria here at school for eating at ... so moving out isn't an option. I can handle it though... it's just right now, it won't work.

UGH, my roommates forget to take out the trash and then try to cover up the trash odor with air fresheners which only end up giving me headaches. [gonk] D: Ugh. Pisses me off. They know about my smell sensitivities too. D: I made them very aware but they clearly don't care. -.-

I'm on Rift staying busy because I only got 2 hours of sleep and need to stay awake for another 4-5 hours.

Cloud: during my first year of college I had a roommate who left mold rotting in the fridge for over two months. I has asked the, multiple times and I ended up cleaning it. Roommates can be fun, but they can also be extremely annoying.

2600: I have two immature children for roommates (who're 18 and 21 - first time away from home. Never before this semester lived with anyone who's not family) who treat me like crap and make me not feel welcomed in my own home... -.-

I didn't get much sleep either, i tried to sleep on the sofa but my brother was still drinking with his friends so i stole his bed for a bit but it wasn't that comfy. I think his ex broke it xDDDDDD

Cloud: Do you have an RA or anyone that looks over the dorms? If they really are a problem you could retry to request to go somewhere else. Back to my first year. There were nights when I would sleep on a sofa in a public area of the college.

2600: We do have an RA (two of them in my building) but I don't trust them to remain impartial as I've already had a sit down, because my roommates called her in to talk to me because clearly I wasn't doing my part... when I really was. And moving out would only make them win... that they've managed to get me out of the room which is what they've wanted all along... Pretty much there is nothing that the dorms can do for me... I'll just suffer in silence... I always do. Nothing new here.
