That's pretty much how I reacted when I turned in my last paper - well technically after I finished packing as that was after I turned in my last paper. I may or may not have done a happy dance.

I am going to the Florida Keys next week after I celebrate my birthday tomorrow with my family :D And then I'll be taking an Orff certification class this summer for two weeks (Orff = instruments/technique)...and taking grad school classes :P So I have a busy summer :D

But I'm super happy :D

Sounds awesome - your birthday trip. You're the second person that I know who's going to Florida. I'm jealous. I'm stuck here at home. Although mom and I may be taking an overnight trip to Tahoe, but that's not Florida. I've been to Tahoe quite a few times, it's kind of getting old. Sure it's pretty but it's the same thing every time.

Carl Orff invented the technique :) He wasn't just a composer but a music educator as well who believed on a very hands-on technique :) He invented SMALLER xylophones that kids can play. In addition, you can remove the bars...so if there are notes that the kids shouldn't play, they can take them off which allows them to experience easy success with music :)

I'm actually FROM Florida :P So I get enough of it D: But I've only ever been to the keys once - so I'm going again with the boyfriend next week :) I'm SUPER excited! We have plans to go jet-skiing and snorkeling and see the hemmingway museum :D
