Okay, on shading. I only recently started experimenting with shading, and that's 'cause I'm perfectionist as can be and want my art to look as real as possible. I'm not good at it. I don't do it consistently (I shade thoroughly here, but not at all there, probably because I don't know how). If I still did anime art, I'd probably not bother shading. It looks fine without. I might prefer anime art without much shading, why. So don't you worry about a lack of shading. Shading is hard. |
