There really aren't any. You post, you get gold, you spend the gold.
Items don't inflate her much and alot of them have drastically deflated so you should be okay. I'd suggest going after event or crowns first if your going to quest rare items.

Don't worry too much, everyone who starts out is the same. x3 After a while you begin chatting to the same people for a few hours and end up earning quite a bit of gold.

I have no idea, they balanced the economy by giving out 2.5k to people under a certain amount of gold.

People set up bots to comment and not vote on your avatar. They get gold for it. Lots of gold. And they set it (the multipul accounts that is) to vote for them 10 all the time.
