The greens introduced last St. Patty's were nice greens because they were towards lime green which is the only green I like.

  • Hm.... purple name. ... :o Purple runs deep in my family, surprisingly. Amethyst, the purple colored gem stone, is the birthstone for most of my family members (including me) and the color purple is a very royal color for Czechoslovakians. Interesting tidbits I learned a while ago. :o

  • I think this came form old, old, OLD traditions, but the Irish viewed green as a good luck color. A color to ward off evil or something of that nature.
