You should go take it looked at. If it's a boil you'll need medicine or have it lanced if medicine doesn't work.

Ooh. That sounds REALLY painful.

I had a huge boil once. I had a bad reaction to the medicine, and it got infected. It was a serious lancing.

My Mom got one lanced on her thumb with no painkillers.

I didn't need painkillers. It was just annoying I was n the urgent care several times dealing with the gauze coming out during recovery.

Yep it might. But you don't want to be one of those people that goes in the doctors office months later with it just huge and out of control and hte doctor look at you and be like, "Why did you wait so long?"
