@Fading: It would be scary, stuck in a foreign country and not able to understand a word of what anyone was saying. Dx
@Cookie: Just about any mushroom can become rubbery in texture, unfortunately. Hence why I don't like them much. Stuffed mushrooms are pretty good though. ^^
I know they're both romance languages, but they really sound quite different, to me anyways. The French just seems so much harder to pronounce, but the Spanish practically just rolled right off my tongue. It came sort of naturally, you know?
:lol: Angry little Japanese lady? That's just silly. I think I'd do fairly well in a classroom environment with Japanese, at least. The pronunciation came pretty easy to me(I love singing along to Japanese music), so it's more a matter of learning what exactly the words mean, and how to construct sentences and such. And of course, the reading and writing half. That part would be hardest, I think. So many symbols, and a lot of them are fairly similar looking. @.@
@Luna: Bye!

@Luna - I was the same. I look French for about five years and I was awful at it. I even went to France three times! I mostly spoke English while I was there. >_>
You don't think you've had mushrooms? I don't understand how people can avoid them for so long o.o They are good. Maybe try fried mushrooms your first time around. People like fried stuff right? XD
Bye Bye
@Fading - Yeah, you slept all night/day. It's too early for you to sleep again. *says that as if she doesn't do the same thing* >_>
Just go to google and search for "Mushroom Cake" in images and a bunch of cute ones pop up.
@Risika - I mostly eat button mushrooms and they're never rubbery. I've only had that problem with shitake. x_x All other mushrooms are firm, but give easily. And I've eaten them lots of different ways. Fried, baked, boiled, stir fried, canned.
I can get the lilting of French better than the tongue rolling of Spanish. Rolling my r to say "rojo" takes me a bit. =P
My Japanese teacher was an angry little Japanese lady. I don't think she was purposely mean, but she was pretty abrasive at times and did not accept anything but perfection, which made it hard because she just forged on ahead and you had to flounder to catch up with her.
Learning the various writings systems is a bitch! A bitch I say!

lol Yes, that would be freaky...but hopefully my current extremely crappy Japanese will be enough for me to expand upon ^_^;;
I have the most trouble with the Hiragana. x__x Once I'm past that stage, I expect trying to memorize which Hiragana turns into which Kanji will kill me.
@Cookie: I mean the Asian mushroom you said you didn't like ^^;

@Fading - They say immersion in a language is one of the fastest ways to learn. *Shrugs*
And I don't know what they look like. They're always cut up when I eat them.

@Fading - Yeah. They like to crush the dreams of crazy otaku everywhere who think they can just move in and get by with words like "Kawaii!" and "moe" XD
At least that one would be easy. My real name is a bit mangled in Japanese. Kinbari Sumitsu. Figure that one out XD
Bye bye.

I've only been to france once on a school trip years ago. We didn't actually.. interact with anyone while we were there. So we never spoke any french at all. We tried snails though! (In little pies with cheese) I nearly threw up. It was actually disgusting, I still remember the smell now. Oh god. >.> BATHROOM! Haha.

Oh dearie me, I poofed again. :sweat: I'm trying to find someplace I can watch foreign tv shows online. Especially Japanese ones. They have all those really silly game shows. But what I really want is a music show, so I can find more awesome music. But I keep finding dead ends...

@Luna - One of my trips there was an exchange trip for a few days. So I lived in some student's house. We hosted a student too, but it was a short exchange, like I said, just a few days. But we were mostly in groups, so we spoke to each other in English. Although, I do remember when we were on the train to Versailles, my two friends were talking about this guy in English, figuring that he was French, so he couldn't understand them. Well then he comes over to us and strikes up a conversation, because he was actually English XD So they got all embarrassed and I ended up talking to their hot guy XD
@Risika - Stop poofing D:
I know places you can watch anime, but not other Japanese programing. You might have to try to download some of that stuff.
@Candy - I have a few red shirts...and a lot of pink underwear XD I only ever do red/pink/purple clothes together. I do my blues/blacks/greens together as well. White goes by itself, well, if I had yellow clothes, that might go with my whites, but I don't own any yellow clothes really.
@Fading - Ding ding ding! You get a Cookie! Me! :D

Lol! How embarrasing for them. Alot of people think that because someone if from another country that they don't understand what they're saying, and they're free to talk about the person. But actually most people in Europe can speak English perfectly lol! But if he was English in the first place then that must have been a really big head-desk moment. If there are desks on the train.. which some have...

@Luna - I know. It was silly of them to just think that. Especially since one of them was bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. But hey, that's what girls do XD I laughed at them. And I don't recall tables on the train, it was a commuter train, not a traveling train.
@Risika - I'm gonna have to spank you. I don't know why that needs to be done, but we'll do whatever is necessary to keep your brain from wandering off. A leash might help.
You cannot reap the rewards without some risks.
@Candy - My mom does my brother's laundry. But I'm a big girl, I do all of my own clothes. Like I want my mom folding my underwear :roll:
@Fading - You never know with people XD They surprise you.

Yeah, like the other day I surprised two foreigners standing outside the restroom discussing in English about whether or not there's toilet paper in the stalls by telling them there is. XD;
