Looking at my list I'm currently reading more than ten books at once. Focus issues much?

I just ordered a bunch of new books too. I've got one about how to care for bearded dragons, one about lizards, and one about birds! They're more reference books than reading materials but I can't wait to browse them. I also ordered a "paint by sitcker" book.

The paint by sticker book I got is cat themed. I think it's by Brain Games? They have so many different themes so there's sure to be something you like between cats, dogs, birds, fish, nature, "cute", inspirational, religious, etc. They're all about $9 per book. I can't remember how many pictures comes in it but I would say at least 20!

Eh they tend to be all about very different things.

Let's see, I've got Moby Dick, that's a hard one so I'll pick it up a bit here and there and then put it down for months.

One is for a web comic so it's nice to just read a chapter here and there.

One is a self-help book for ADHD. I don't have the attention span to read it for long so I'll just do a few pages and then put it down for a few days.

I've got another one for work that I'm 100% not into so I'll read it a little bit here or there just because I'm trying to finish it but yeah, I hate it.

I've got one set in Japan about a geisha in a snowy town. It's ok, I'm reading it a bit here and there.

There's also the audio book I haven't been reading much lately and the ebook which is going to expire before I'm finished.

And the the acne book which is the one I'm actually enjoying right now.

Oh yeah and the two French books.

I just cycle through them here and there.

Oooh, you'll have to tell me if it's fun. I've tried diamond painting before and enjoyed it, so I wonder if I would like this too.

I keep telling myself I should finish the ones I have started before starting something else but then the chaos just continues.

I just did my first two sticker art thingies today! I quite liked it! It's relaxing and the end result looks nice. I mean it's not 100% perfect because it's hard to get all of the stickers aligned just so but I like it!

I've been curious about doing those bedazzled art thingers but haven't tried one. I think I would probably like it though! One of these days I'll have to give it a go...

LOL You make me chuckle!

So on Feb 1st I was notified that a book I put on hold a month ago at the library was finally ready. I got so excited because I forgot about it. It was "It Starts With Us" by Colleen Hover and is the sequel to "It Ends With Us". It was PERFECT Zig. Perfect. You know how so often when reading a fictional book, where their is a love story and you're rooting for the characters and in the end there is a match and you're so happy, but you kind of want to know what happens next? JK Rowling sort of did that in Harry Potter, where at the end she shows us who married who and who had a family etc. It's like a little glimpse to tell us everything worked out.

WELL It Starts With Us is EXACTLY that! The author basically said: Yes they had a happy ending, please enjoy reading about it.

It was beautiful, the exact closure one needs to put those characters away and find new ones to love. Ah I am so happy lol I finished it last night, it was so good. I gave it a 5 star, not for being a literary work of genius, but for finally doing exactly what I've always wanted in a sequel. lol

That really sounds fun!

I managed to find some that are cards, so once you're done you can give them to someone else.

Ooh, that sounds really amazing! I had the first book on my list a while ago and then took it off for some reason so I just put it back on. I'm so glad you loved it!

All of my new books arrived, one on lizards in general, one on how to care for bearded dragons, and a bird book. Mostly reference books but they're fun to look at!

Oh that's really cute! I was thinking about doing that with the ones I'm doing from the book but it's true that as full sheets of paper it's not so easy to mail them to my penpal buddies.

Folding them could damage them I suppose. Sending them in pieces wouldn't be any better, but maybe if you covered them in that plastic stuff you can put on books to protect the covers?

You mean laminate it! :’D That would probably work. Probably have to send it rolled up.

Yes, but not quite. Laminating it would be a harder plastic than I'm thinking of. I'm imagining the more flexible stuff libraries use to protect book covers? If that rings a bell?

Oooh! You mean book jackets/covers! Not sure if you can use something like that for one slip of paper, but you can buy stuff like that online.
