That does happen a lot with older series. XD If you have a suggest for purchase form at your library, I'm sure they would buy the other volumes for you if they're able. And at least you can put items on hold too. That's the most helpful thing. I don't have that problem much at all at but I mostly borrow titles that don't have many volumes or are very recent/new.

I haven't! It looks really good, it's cool that it started in the 80s too, I love that era of fantasy. Do you have a favorite one in the series?

it's been a minute since i've been in here. This year i've read See These Bones, Red Right Hand, and One Tin Soldier all by Chris Tollbane, and it's a fantastic series that i definitely recommend, as well as Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, And i've started Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, which is ALSO a highly recommended book series, but since i know this series is not finished, i'm not looking forward to finishing onyx storm because i know there will be a cliff hanger. The first two books ended on cliff hangers, so i'm expecting it now. I also started a reread of Scythe by neal shusterman, Also a fantastic series. I didn't finish it yet though because i got wrapped up in fourth wing xD I also started reading Ink by Amanda Sun, and that's a reread, but i haven't read the sequels for it, so once i'm done with ink i'll go onto the next book. probably.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Just updated my reading list. I've read 16 books this year so far. My reading has been slowing down a lot though since we bought a house and there's been so much to do with that. It's been quite the adventure!

That's a good reason to slow down though!

True! I do miss reading though. I've been listening to some audio books but haven't been able to sit down with a book.

I've been listening to a couple podcasts lately but I'm hoping to get back into my books soon.

I just finished book number 18 for this year. It was called "The Glassmaker". It wasn't terrible but not my favorite either. There was some magical realism to it that never got addresses which I found kind of frustrating. I'm now listening to "Whose Names Are Unknown".

I finished book number nineteen! Reading is definitely going slow with the upcoming move. Really hoping I can find some time to sit down with a good book after we get unpacked.

I looove rocking chairs but have never had one of my own. Every time I go to an airport and find one I sit and rock as long as I can. Now I'll be able to rock whenever I want!

Sadly I haven't had time to sit down and rock since we moved in. There's so much to settle still. I'm working on finding a home for the blankets that are currently piled on it. I finished a couple of audio books so that makes 21 books read so far. I'm listening to one right now called "A Sorceress Comes to Call" which I've been quite enjoying. A lot more than my last book which was just eh.

It's about a mother and daughter. The mother is a sorceress and the daughter is stuck under her controlling thumb and gets pulled into a plot for her mother to marry a rich duke/count/something. It's been a good romp so far.

I finished the book yesterday, it was a pretty fun read! I might see about reading another book by that author at some point.

I did finally get to sit in my rocker yesterday and read a few pages of my book! It was only for a few minutes but it was a nice short break.

I certainly hope so! There's so much to do still it's hard to sit down and just chill. We're getting there though! What's everyone reading now? I started "The God of the Woods" audiobook yesterday. I'm not really sure if I like it yet.

I'm between books at the moment(Just finished Different, Not Less by Chloe Hayden) but I think my next adventure is going to be The House of Hidden Meanings which is a RuPaul Memoir. I started it before but got sucked into something else at the time
